Fender Custom Shop '60's Telecaster Custom Deluxe Closet Classic in Super Faded Aged Black

Andertons are pleased to offer this Fender Custom Shop ’60s Telecaster Custom in Super Faded Aged Black. Featuring a tortoise shell pickguard and binding, this eye-catching Tele has that classic Telecaster roundness and sweet articulation that sets this model apart from the rest.

Its Hand Wound Loaded ’51 Nocaster bridge pickup provides the classic Tele twang but turned up a gear with even more power and bite. And for even more versatility, it's been perfectly paired with a Hand Wound Twisted Tele neck pickup, offering Strat-like chime and glassiness. The ’63 Strat-styled C-shaped neck feels fast and comfortable up and down the fingerboard. Presented in a stunning Deluxe Closet Classic finish, this Tele looks like the real deal!

Perfect Combinations

Utilising Fender's classic wood combination of Alder, Maple and Rosewood, this Telecaster does it right! With its Alder body, Maple neck and AAA Rosewood fingerboard, this Tele Custom offers it in Premium styling. Tonally, it's well-balanced with a slight push in the upper mids as you'd expect from a Tele. The guitar sustains nicely, and at 7.7 lbs, it’s a very comfortable weight.

Fender Custom Shop

The Fender Dream Factory… Fender’s best luthiers, using the best materials and tools all under one roof with the single unified mission of building the best guitars that Fender has ever produced. Founded in 1987, the Custom Shop was established to take Fender’s manufacturing back to its roots with smaller production numbers and higher quality. Famed for pushing Leo's designs to their absolute limits, the Custom Shop is the benchmark to which all other Fender electric guitars are compared to!

• Deluxe Closet Classic - The Deluxe Closet Classic ageing perfectly replicates what would be described by collectors as mint condition. The finish shows some discolouration and oxidation; however, it still retains an honest shine.
• ‘63 C - This comfortable vintage-styled C feels comfortable and down the neck and is a well-suited middle ground for all hand sizes and playing styles.
• Twisted Tele/Loaded '51 Nocaster - The perfect combination of a Twisted Tele neck pickup for Strat-like chime and sparkle and a Loaded '51 Nocaster in the bridge for a pure, unadulterated Tele twang.
