Product Description
The Evidence Audio SIS Angled Connector in Black is a single right angled 1/4" plug designed specifically for use with Evidence Audio’s award winning Monorail cable. Using a unique screw in, solderless design, it delivers a secure, low resistance connection that rivals traditional soldered plugs while remaining easy to assemble, adjust and rebuild whenever your pedalboard layout changes.
Perfect for players who demand both reliability and tone, this compact connector helps you create ultra tidy patch leads that maximise the Monorail cable’s clarity and headroom. The stealthy black cap matches Evidence Audio’s Stealth Black SIS kits, making it ideal for expanding an existing system or building a custom set of cables from scratch.
Better than Soldered
The SIS (Screw In Solderless) design creates a mechanically solid and electrically consistent connection between the plug and Monorail cable. By tightly gripping the conductor as you screw the cap down, the plug forms a gas tight joint that rivals or surpasses many soldered terminations, preserving your tone without the hassle of a soldering iron.
Fast, Tool Free Assembly
Because there is no soldering involved, you can cut, prepare and assemble cables quickly with basic hand tools. If you change your board layout or need a different length, simply unscrew, trim and rebuild. This convenience makes it far easier to maintain a clean, efficient signal path as your rig evolves.
Compact Right Angled Form
The low profile right angled format keeps plugs close to your pedals, saving valuable space and helping you fit more effects on your board. The tight footprint also reduces strain on jacks and cables, which can improve long term reliability in demanding live or studio environments.
Stealth Black Finish
This version of the SIS connector features a black cap, as supplied with Evidence Audio’s Stealth Black SIS kits. The discreet finish blends into dark pedalboards and stage setups, giving your wiring a professional, unobtrusive look while matching other black SIS components in your system.
Features
- Screw In Solderless Design - The SIS mechanism grips the Monorail cable’s conductor as you tighten the cap, forming a secure, low resistance joint without solder. This makes it easy to achieve consistent, high quality terminations that protect your tone.
- Optimised for Monorail Cable - Engineered specifically for Evidence Audio Monorail, the connector and cable work together as a matched system. This ensures a precise fit and helps maintain the Monorail’s renowned clarity, punch and noise performance.
- Compact Right Angled Plug - The small, right angled body lets pedals sit closer together and keeps patch leads neat and tidy. This is particularly useful on crowded boards where every millimetre counts and you want to minimise cable clutter.
- Stealth Black Cap - The black cap matches Evidence Audio’s Stealth Black SIS kits for a cohesive look across your board. It also helps the hardware visually disappear on darker boards and stages, keeping the focus on your pedals rather than the cabling.
