Product Description
The EVH 5150 Iconic 6L6 15W amp head brings legendary EVH tone into an accessible, compact format that modern shredders will love. Packing plenty of punch into its streamlined design, this head serves up the famous 5150 sound that's become a benchmark for high-octane rock and metal. Rich harmonics, tight response, bundles of attitude — it truly is iconic!
Dial in your perfect (brown) sound
With two versatile channels, the 5150 Iconic gives you lots of sonic legroom. The Green channel features an Overdrive button for everything from articulate crunch tones to singing lead sounds, while the Red channel's Burn switch unleashes over-the-top saturation.
Independent Gain and Volume controls for each channel work alongside a Global 3-Band EQ, Presence, Resonance and Reverb controls, giving you complete command over your tone. You also get a two-button footswitch for switching channels and engaging a 6dB Clean Input Stage Boost for an instant lift whenever you need it.
Built for stage, studio and home
Whether you're gigging, recording or practising at home, the 5150 Iconic 15W head is up to any task. A handy quarter-power switch allows you to tame the volume without sacrificing character, making it ideal for low-volume sessions. There's also a speaker-emulated XLR output for direct recording, alongside a Power Amp Mute function, Preamp Out and an effects Loop, so it’ll fit into practically any setup.
Compact size, serious capability
Despite its smaller footprint, this head is packed with pro-grade features. Selectable 4, 8 and 16-ohm impedance options make it easy to pair with your preferred cabinet, while its simple, road-ready design means less time tweaking and more time playing. It's a reliable all-rounder that punches far above its weight, wherever you use it!
