Dunlop XPND Expression Pedal for Neural DSP Quad Cortex

The Dunlop XPND Expression Pedal for Neural DSP Quad Cortex is purpose-built to give you precise, musical control over your modeller. Calibrated specifically for the Quad Cortex, it translates every movement of your foot into smooth, accurate parameter changes, from volume and wah to pitch, filters and more. If you want to unlock the full performance potential of your Quad Cortex with an expression pedal that just works, this is the one it has been voiced for.

Unlike generic expression pedals, the XPND is matched to the Quad Cortex response curve so the entire travel of the pedal is usable. There is no dead zone at the heel and no sudden jump at the toe, just an even, predictable sweep that makes it easy to dial in expressive swells, subtle morphs and dramatic effect moves. A built-in toe switch lets you engage or bypass assigned effects without taking your foot off the pedal, keeping your performance fluid and focused on the music.

Designed to integrate cleanly into modern rigs, the XPND connects to the Quad Cortex via TRS and is clearly labelled so setup is straightforward. Once connected, you can assign it to control virtually any parameter inside the Quad Cortex, from global volume to multiple effect blocks, giving you hands-free control over complex patches and scenes. Whether you are building ambient soundscapes, tight modern metal tones or detailed studio presets, the XPND gives you the finesse to shape them in real time.

Built with an all-metal rocker and base, the XPND is ready for regular use on stage, in the studio or at home. The chassis is engineered to feel solid underfoot while delivering a smooth, consistent action that encourages expressive playing. If you rely on your Quad Cortex as the heart of your setup, this dedicated Dunlop expression pedal is a natural extension of the unit, giving you a more tactile, performance-ready way to control your sound.

Quad Cortex Matched Response

The XPND is calibrated specifically for the Neural DSP Quad Cortex, so the pedal travel mirrors the unit’s own response curve. That means your heel-to-toe movement translates directly into predictable changes on screen, making it far easier to hit sweet spots, repeat moves accurately and build patches that feel natural underfoot.

Smooth, Full-Range Sweep

From heel to toe, the XPND delivers an even, consistent sweep with no dead spots or sudden jumps at the end of the travel. This gives you a genuinely usable range across the whole pedal, perfect for controlled volume swells, expressive wah tones and finely tuned modulation or pitch shifts.

Integrated Toe Switch Control

A toe switch under the front of the rocker allows you to engage or disengage effects with simple on or off modes. You can drop a block in or out of your Quad Cortex signal chain mid phrase without moving your foot, ideal for toggling wah, boost, or any other assigned effect during a performance.

Road Ready Construction

With its all-metal rocker and base, the XPND is built to withstand regular use. The solid construction provides a stable platform that inspires confidence underfoot, while the smooth mechanical action makes it comfortable for long sets, rehearsals and extended studio sessions.

• Calibrated for Neural DSP Quad Cortex - Specifically matched to the Quad Cortex response for precise, reliable parameter control, ensuring that every movement of your foot produces a predictable change in your sound.
• Smooth Heel to Toe Sweep - Delivers an even, full-range sweep with no dead zone at the start and no abrupt jump at the end, giving you a genuinely usable control range for volume, wah and any other assignable parameter.
• Built In Toe Switch - A toe switch beneath the front of the pedal lets you engage or bypass effects in simple on or off modes, so you can bring blocks in and out of your Quad Cortex signal chain without lifting your foot.
• Durable All Metal Chassis - Constructed with an all-metal rocker and base for long term reliability, providing a stable, road ready platform that feels solid and responsive underfoot.
