Product Description
The DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary Bridge Humbucker captures everything players love about a great vintage humbucker: a sweet, expressive voice, a soft magnetic pull, and the perfect balance of warmth, clarity and dynamic response. It reacts naturally to your playing, cleaning up or breaking up simply through pick attack.
Re-engineered for modern consistency
Rather than being a straight recreation, the PAF 36th Anniversary Bridge was re-engineered using DiMarzio’s patented technology and carefully voiced against Larry DiMarzio’s legendary 1959 Gibson Les Paul. The result is an authentic vintage-style tone with impressive definition, articulation and note separation.
Open, articulate & responsive
Its weaker magnetic field allows strings to vibrate more freely for enhanced sustain, while delivering a focused attack and remarkably clear output that's almost single-coil-like in character. Precision winding ensures consistent performance, while specialised wax potting reduces unwanted squeal and microphonics, making it as reliable on modern stages as it is rich in classic PAF tone.
