Product Description
The Darkglass Super Intelligent Footswitch is the dedicated controller for the Microtubes 900 and Microtubes 500 amplifiers, giving you instant, hands-free access to all of your core tones. With individual switches for Clean, Vintage Microtubes, Microtubes B3K and Mute, it turns your Darkglass head into a powerful, stage-ready command centre in a compact, roadworthy chassis.
Designed to be as tough and reliable as the amps it partners, the Super Intelligent Footswitch lets you move between pristine cleans, warm vintage grind and aggressive modern drive without touching your front panel. Whether you are on a busy stage or in the studio, it keeps your sound changes tight, precise and repeatable, so you can focus entirely on your playing.
Effortless Control of Your Darkglass Head
The Super Intelligent Footswitch is purpose-built for Darkglass Microtubes 900 and Microtubes 500 amplifiers, giving you direct access to the amp channels under your feet. Instead of leaning over to tweak controls mid-song, you can recall your core sounds instantly, keeping transitions smooth and professional in any live setting.
Clean Channel at a Single Stomp
Need a crystal-clear, full-range tone for chords, tapping or effects-heavy parts The dedicated Clean switch engages the Microtubes clean channel, with its crisp, transparent character and flexible 4 band EQ. It is ideal for when you want your bass and pedals to speak with maximum clarity and definition.
Vintage Microtubes Warmth on Tap
The VMT switch calls up the Vintage Microtubes voice, bringing up the mids for a warmer, more neutral overdrive character. It is perfect for classic rock, soul and blues, adding touch-sensitive grit that sits naturally in a mix without overpowering the rest of the band.
Microtubes B3K Aggression When You Need It
For modern, cutting bass tones, the B3K switch delivers the aggressive, percussive sound of the Microtubes B3K. This voice is ideal for metal, prog and any style where you need tight low end, pronounced attack and a driven tone that still retains note definition.
Instant Mute for Silent Tuning
A dedicated Mute switch silences your amplifier output in an instant, making it easy to tune quietly or take a break between songs. No need to roll down your volume or unplug your bass, keeping your stage setup cleaner and your changes more controlled.
