Product Description
The Darkglass Alpha Omega Intelligent Footswitch is the ideal partner for the Alpha Omega 900 bass amplifier, giving you instant, hands-free control over its core sounds and compressor. With three programmable switches plus a dedicated mute, it turns complex tonal setups into a simple, stage-ready stompbox that keeps you focused on your playing rather than your amp.
Designed specifically for the Alpha Omega 900, this compact controller lets you move seamlessly between clean and driven tones, with or without compression, at the tap of a foot. Whether you are switching from tight, articulate cleans to aggressive distortion, or simply need to silence your rig for tuning, the AO Intelligent Footswitch keeps everything under control and within easy reach.
Programming is handled via Darkglass Suite, so you can tailor each of the three main switches to suit your setlist and playing style. Once configured, your settings are stored on the amplifier, meaning you can plug in and play without reprogramming at every gig or rehearsal. Built with typical Darkglass attention to detail, it is a robust, road-ready solution for players who demand precision and reliability from their gear.
Hands Free Control Of Your Alpha Omega 900
The AO Intelligent Footswitch gives you direct access to the Alpha Omega 900 amplifier’s Clean, Alpha, Omega and Mod channels, along with compressor on or off states. Instead of leaning over your amp mid-song, you can move between your core sounds instantly with your feet, keeping your hands on the instrument and your performance uninterrupted.
Programmable Switching Via Darkglass Suite
Using Darkglass Suite, each of the three main switches can be programmed to recall specific channel and compressor combinations. This lets you create tailored presets for different songs or sections, from subtle compressed cleans to full-on distorted tones, and recall them consistently every time you step on stage.
Dedicated Mute For Silent Tuning
A separate mute footswitch lets you silence the amplifier output whenever you need. Ideal for quiet tuning or quick changes between instruments, it gives you instant control over your signal without touching the amp controls or volume knobs.
Compact, Gig Ready Design
With a small footprint and lightweight construction, the AO Intelligent Footswitch is easy to fit on a pedalboard or carry in a gig bag. Its straightforward layout keeps operation simple on dark stages, while the solid build is designed to handle regular use in rehearsals and live shows.
Features
- Three Programmable Footswitches - Assign each of the A, B and C switches to specific channel and compressor combinations using Darkglass Suite, so your go to sounds are always one tap away.
- Default Preset Layout - Out of the box, A selects clean with compression off, B selects clean with compression on, and C selects Mod distortion with compression on, giving you an immediate, practical set of core tones.
- Dedicated Mute Switch - Instantly mute the amplifier for silent tuning or quick breaks, keeping your signal under control without adjusting your main volume or amp settings.
- Seamless Integration With Alpha Omega 900 - Designed specifically for the Alpha Omega 900, all programming is stored on the amplifier itself, ensuring reliable recall of your settings every time you power up.
