Danelectro Longhorn Baritone Electric Guitar in Black Burst

When Danelectro roared back in ’98, they smashed it with a lineup of reissues that brought all that quirky, golden-era magic straight back into players’ hands. Fast forward to now, and they’ve not just stuck with the formula — they’ve dialled it in for modern players. Same vibe, more punch. And if you’re after a baritone guitar that looks cool, sounds massive and doesn’t just blend into the background, the Danelectro Longhorn Baritone should definitely be on your shortlist.

The legendary Longhorn look

Nothing else looks quite like a Danelectro Longhorn. First introduced in the late ’50s, this unique design is lightweight, nicely balanced and super comfy whether you’re stood up rocking out or sat down laying down low-tuned riffs. The compact size makes long sessions a breeze too, and on stage? You’ll cut through visually just as much as sonically!

Powerful Lipstick pickups

It wouldn’t be a Danelectro without those famous Lipstick single-coils. This Longhorn model is loaded with a high-output, high-impedance set that still dishes out all the signature ‘50s flavour: bright, chiming highs, punchy mids and a tight, focused low end, just with a bit more muscle behind it. With a simple master volume, tone control and 3-way selector, it’s easy to shape your sound and swap tones on the fly too.

Surprisingly comfy

For something that looks this wild, it’s actually a really easy-playing guitar. The Maple neck feels slick in the hand and the Rosewood board is nice and smooth. And thanks to those deep cutaways, getting up to all 24 frets is no drama at all — handy if you fancy escaping the low-end riffage for a cheeky lead line!

• 1958 Longhorn body: A striking design that’s light, well-balanced and dripping with mojo — super easy to play whether you’re on stage or kicking back at home.
• 29.75” baritone scale length: Designed for lower tunings, this extended scale keeps everything feeling tight, defined and responsive. It’s perfect for deep, rumbling riffs that cut through.
• High-output, high-impedance Lipstick pickups: Danelectro’s legendary single-coils, delivering that unmistakable chime and bite but with added power and punch.
• Fully adjustable bridge: Dial in your setup with ease thanks to precise height and intonation adjustment for each string.
