Please do not come to the store before you have received the follow-up message, as your order may not yet be ready at the store.
If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

Rather than simply revisiting the past, Danelectro have cranked things up a notch — doubling down on everything that made those originals so special. The Glitter ’59 is a real standout, with its eye-catching sparkle finish, vibrant-sounding Lipstick pickups and traditional bridge that takes you straight back to the ‘50s.
Iconic Lipstick pickups
You can’t talk about Danelectro without mentioning those legendary Lipstick single-coils. And thankfully, they’re still front and centre here. This set keeps all the character of the revered ‘50s originals, with cutting highs, punchy mids and a tight, controlled low-end. With master volume and tone controls, plus a 3-way pickup selector, it’s easy to shape your sound and switch things up on the fly too.
Vintage feel, modern stability
Danelectro have kept things reassuringly old-school but with a subtle contemporary edge. A straight string pull runs from the 3-a-side vintage-style tuners over a slippery aluminium nut and onto the bridge, helping keep your tuning stable so it’s ready to go wherever you take it.

With its sleek, comfortable “C” Maple neck and smooth 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard, the Danelectro Glitter ‘59 feels great in the hands whether you’re practicing at home or playing a full set.
