Product Description
When Danelectro burst back onto the scene in 1998, they nailed it with a run of reissues that brought their wonderfully quirky, golden-era guitars back to life. Fast forward to today, and they’ve gone one step further. Instead of just recreating those classics, they’ve doubled down on what made them so loved in the first place — refining the formula for modern players. If you’re in the market for a low-tuned monster packed with retro mojo, the Danelectro Baritone should be on your radar!
Iconic Lipstick pickups (with extra punch)
It wouldn’t be a Danelectro without those famous Lipstick single-coils. This model is loaded with a high-output, high-impedance set that still dishes out all the signature ‘50s flavour: bright, chiming highs, punchy mids and a tight, focused low end, just with a bit more muscle behind it. With a simple master volume, tone control and 3-way selector, it’s easy to shape your sound and swap tones on the fly.
Old-school charm, modern reliability
Danelectro have kept the vintage spirit alive, but with a few clever tweaks to meet the demands of modern players. The straight string pull from the distinctive “Dolphin” headstock, over an aluminium nut and down to the fully adjustable bridge, helps keep tuning rock-solid.
Built to feel just right
Comfort is key, and the Danelectro Baritone guitar delivers. The smooth Maple neck and 24-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard feel slick and responsive whether you’re practicing at home or gigging out. And with a deep cutaway, reaching all 24 frets is a breeze (and gives you a cheeky break from all those low notes!).
Features
- Single-cut body: A classic shape that’s dripping with mojo and super comfy, whether you’re riffing on stage or kicking back at home.
- 29.75” baritone scale length: Designed for lower tunings, this extended scale keeps everything feeling tight, defined and responsive. It’s perfect for deep, rumbling riffs that cut through!
- High-output, high-impedance Lipstick pickups: Danelectro’s legendary single-coils, delivering that unmistakable chime and bite but with added power and punch.
- Fully adjustable bridge: Dial in your setup with ease thanks to precise height and intonation adjustment.
