Please do not come to the store before you have received the follow-up message, as your order may not yet be ready at the store.
If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

Fast forward to now, and things have taken a turn for the better. Rather than simply revisiting the past, Danelectro have cranked things up a notch — doubling down on everything that made those originals so special. The 59M NOS+ is a proper evolution of their most iconic model, now armed with a pair of beefed-up Lipstick pickups that deliver more punch, more presence and even more attitude!
Classic Lipstick pickups (with modern bite)
You can’t talk about Danelectro without mentioning those legendary Lipstick single-coils. And thankfully, they’re still front and centre here. This upgraded set keeps all the character of the original NOS pickups but adds a bit more muscle where it matters. Crisper highs, punchier mids and a more solid low-end response give you a fuller, balanced tone without losing that unmistakable Dano sparkle. With dual-concentric volume and tone controls, plus a 3-way pickup selector, it’s easy to dial things in and switch up your sound on the fly too.
Ready for the stage & studio
When it comes to tuning stability, Danelectro have kept things nicely old-school but with a contemporary edge. A straight string pull runs from the 3-a-side vintage-style tuners over an aluminium nut and onto a fully adjustable die-cast wraparound bridge that’s neatly recessed into the body. That means reliable tuning, accurate intonation and a guitar that’s ready to go wherever you take it.
Simply a joy to play
With its sleek, comfortable neck profile and smooth 21-fret fingerboard, the Danelectro 59M NOS+ is a joy in the hands whether you’re practicing or playing a full set. The lightweight Poplar frame and Masonite construction also keeps things super manageable on long gigs.

- Shorthorn body shape: This unique double-cut design has been turning heads since the late ’50s. It’s light, balanced and dripping with retro charm, making it super easy to play whether you’re standing on stage or kicking back at home.
- 25” scale length: There’s enough tension for tight, articulate rhythms but it still feels slinky enough for big bends and lead work. In true Dano fashion, it’s an easy-going playing experience that suits pretty much any style!
