Product Description
The Danelectro 59 M NOS+ in Aged White takes the brand’s most iconic double cutaway design and injects it with a fresh dose of tone. Classic looks, lightweight construction and that unmistakable Dano vibe are all present and correct, but the updated NOS+ lipstick pickups add extra clarity, punch and low end authority, making this a brilliant choice for players who love retro style but demand modern performance.
Whether you are chasing jangly indie rhythms, gritty garage rock, surf twang or characterful clean tones for studio work, the 59 M NOS+ delivers with ease. Its semi hollow construction keeps the weight down and the resonance up, while the familiar short scale neck makes chords, bends and vibrato feel effortless. Plug it in and you get all the sparkle and chime you expect from a Danelectro, with more definition and fullness that helps your sound sit perfectly in a mix.
Visually, the Aged White finish and classic Danelectro styling give the guitar a cool, road worn charm straight out of the box. From the stacked controls to the vintage inspired hardware and pickguard layout, it looks like a cult classic but plays like a modern workhorse. If you have always fancied adding that unmistakable Dano character to your collection, the 59 M NOS+ is a fun, inspiring and surprisingly versatile option that punches well above its price.
NOS+ Lipstick Pickups
The heart of the 59 M NOS+ is its updated pair of NOS+ lipstick single coils. These pickups retain the airy, glassy character of Danelectro’s original NOS designs but refine the frequency response with sweeter highs, punchier mids and tighter lows. The result is a more balanced, gig ready tone that cuts through a band mix without ever sounding harsh, making it ideal for everything from bright cleans to gritty overdrive.
Classic Semi Hollow Construction
True to the original Danelectro recipe, the 59 M NOS+ uses a semi hollow construction that delivers a lively, resonant acoustic response. This design gives chords a woody, percussive attack and adds natural air to your sound, while also keeping the guitar comfortably lightweight for long rehearsals and shows. It is a distinctive feel and tone that encourages you to play differently and explore new textures.
Comfortable Short Scale Neck
The shorter scale length and slim neck profile make the 59 M NOS+ exceptionally easy to play. String tension feels slightly softer under the fingers, making bends, vibrato and extended chords less fatiguing, which is great for both beginners and experienced players who value comfort. Fast runs, barre chords and intricate rhythm parts all feel natural and inviting on this neck.
Vintage Inspired Aesthetics
With its Aged White finish, double cutaway body and classic Danelectro appointments, the 59 M NOS+ has instant retro appeal. It looks right at home on stage, in the studio or hanging on the wall, and its distinctive styling sets it apart from more traditional designs. If you want a guitar that sounds great and makes a visual statement, this model delivers in style.
