Product Description
The Celestion Heritage G12H (75) is a 30W, 12-inch ceramic speaker that nails the unmistakable sound of late 60s rock. Voiced with a classic 75 c/s lead cone and a slightly leaner low end, it delivers tight, punchy bass, muscular upper mids and sparkling highs that cut through a busy mix without ever getting harsh.
Modelled closely on the original G12H speakers that powered countless Hendrix-era recordings, this Heritage re-creation gives you that familiar roar, snap and presence that defined a generation of British rock tones. Whether you are restoring a vintage cab, upgrading a modern combo or building a period-correct rig from scratch, the G12H (75) drops in and instantly brings that authentic, authoritative voice.
With a healthy 30W power rating, a highly efficient 100dB sensitivity and a robust pressed steel chassis, the G12H (75) is built to handle cranked valve amps while staying articulate and responsive. The tighter bottom end and focused midrange make it a superb choice for classic rock, blues and hard rock players who want definition and bite without flub or muddiness.
Available here in a 15 ohm version, it is ideal for recreating traditional British cabinet configurations and matching correctly with vintage-style valve amplifiers that expect higher impedance loads.
Classic Late 60s Rock Voice
Inspired by the G12H speakers heard on countless Hendrix recordings, the Heritage G12H (75) captures that iconic late 60s British rock character. Expect a firm, woody attack, rich harmonic overtones and a commanding presence that lets your guitar sit perfectly in the band mix.
75 c/s Lead Cone for Tighter Lows
The 75 c/s lead cone shifts the tonal balance slightly away from the low end, tightening up the bass response. This helps keep overdriven tones controlled and punchy, especially at higher volumes, making it ideal for players who want definition and clarity rather than a big, booming bottom.
Punchy Upper Mids and Sparkling Highs
With a pronounced upper midrange and clear, open top end, the G12H (75) delivers riffs and solos that leap out of the speakers. Chords stay articulate, while single notes gain extra bite and presence, helping your sound cut through without needing excessive EQ or volume.
High Sensitivity and Vintage-Friendly Impedance
A 100dB sensitivity rating means this speaker is loud and efficient, making the most of every watt from your amp. The 15 ohm impedance suits traditional British-style wiring schemes and vintage-inspired heads, helping you recreate authentic classic rock setups with ease.
Features
- Authentic Heritage G12H Tone - Faithfully recreates the sound of late 60s G12H speakers, giving you the same muscular, expressive voice heard on classic rock recordings and vintage British stacks.
- 75 c/s Lead Cone Voicing - The specialised lead cone reduces low-end emphasis for a tighter, more controlled bass response, ideal for cranked valve amps and articulate overdrive tones.
- Powerful and Efficient - With a 30W power rating and 100dB sensitivity, the G12H (75) delivers impressive volume and headroom, making it suitable for gigging combos and cabs that need to keep up on loud stages.
- 15 Ohm Vintage Compatibility - The 15 ohm impedance is perfect for traditional multi-speaker wiring and for pairing with classic-style amps that are designed around higher impedance loads.
