Product Description
The Celestion Heritage G12H (55) is a 30 watt, 12 inch ceramic guitar speaker that faithfully recreates the sound of late 60s rock. Featuring the classic 55c/s bass cone and a hefty H magnet, it delivers thick, syrupy tones with a deep, growling low end, densely complex mids and a finely detailed top that cuts through a full band mix.
If you are chasing the unmistakable roar heard on countless Hendrix recordings, this is the speaker that gets you there. In a 4x12 it excels at towering power chords and saturated classic rock crunch, while a single or pair in a smaller cab offers rich, harmonically loaded drive at more manageable volumes. The G12H (55) Heritage is built for players who want authentic vintage character with modern reliability.
Classic Late 60s Rock Voice
Voiced to capture the unmistakable mojo of late 60s rock guitar, the Heritage G12H (55) gives you that familiar blend of chewy mids, tight but weighty lows and articulate highs. It is ideal for nailing iconic British rock tones where the guitar needs to sound big, bold and expressive without losing clarity.
55c/s Bass Cone Authority
The 55c/s bass cone is at the heart of this model, providing a deeper, more authoritative low end compared to standard cones. This gives riffs and power chords a thick, growling foundation that feels huge in a 4x12, while still staying controlled enough for tight, punchy rhythm work.
High Sensitivity for Effortless Projection
With a sensitivity of 100dB, the G12H (55) is very efficient, meaning your amp feels louder and more responsive at any given setting. This makes it easier to hit that sweet spot where the power valves and speaker are working together, delivering dynamic, touch-sensitive overdrive and excellent note definition.
Heritage Construction and Ceramic Punch
A pressed steel chassis and substantial ceramic magnet give the G12H (55) its fast attack and solid, percussive feel. The Heritage construction approach focuses on period-correct components and voicing, so you get the punch and presence of a classic H magnet speaker with the consistency and durability of a modern build.
