Melbourne Instruments builds hybrid synthesizers and state of the art midi controllers that bring analogue warmth and tactile playability together with modern digital recall and automation. Their core innovation is a motorised control system that combines brushless motors and high-resolution sensing to deliver precise, hands-on parameter control, instant patch recall and long-lived reliability.

The company’s flagship polysynth, NINA, is a 12-voice, multi-timbral analogue/digital instrument designed as a next-generation groovebox. NINA pairs discrete analogue oscillators and ladder filtering with digital wavetables, an extensive modulation matrix, and a 4-part polyphonic sequencer — all accessible from a motorised front panel that snaps to saved parameter states for fast sound design and live performance.

DELIA extends the same motorised-morphing philosophy into a bi-timbral format, combining modelled virtual-analog oscillators with true analogue filters, phrase looping and an expansive modulation architecture. DELIA emphasises timbral morphing (A/B patch morphing), deep sequencing/phrase overdubbing and unlimited modulation routing to offer a wide sonic variety from a compact unit.

For users who want motorised control without an integrated synth engine, the ROTO-CONTROL is a compact motorised MIDI/DAW controller with MIX, PLUGIN and MIDI modes plus a Motion Recorder for capturing automation. It integrates tightly with popular DAWs, offers one-touch learn and on-device memory for setups, and ships with an accompanying ROTO-SETUP app for deep customisation.
