Squier Precision Bass Guitars

Producing licensed versions of Fender instruments, Squier provides classic designs and tones at a lower price range. The Squier Precision Bass is the inexpensive version of the classic Fender Precision Bass. This legendary instrument first hit the scene in 1951 and has been one of the worlds most popular basses since. You can hear a P-bass on countless records from a wide range of genres - James Jamerson, Roger Waters, John Deacon, Pete Wentz, and more have all played Precision basses.

Squier Classic Vibe Series Precision Basses

The Classic Vibe series remain true to the spirit of vintage Fenders. The Squier Classic Vibe Precision Bass sticks to the iconic P-bass formula that has remained relatively unchanged since 1957. With just a single split-coil humbucker in the middle position, you get that signature warm rounded sound that has become so legendary. There are some changes from the original deigns to make it easier to play and of course, keep it affordable but the essence of those old Precision basses is still there. The Classic Vibe P-Bass has that beautifully simple formula that has become so beloved.

Squier Affinity Series Precision Basses

The Affinity Series are more modern, versatile P-basses - capable of a broader range of tones whilst keeping the classic Precision sound. With the Affinity series, you still get the split-coil in the middle but you also get the tighter sounding Jazz Bass pickup in the bridge. With two volume controls, you can use each pickup by itself or blend the two together to varying amounts. The Affinity series is great if you love that P-bass sound but need a bit more tonal variety.
