Just like its name suggests, this medium-gain overdrive pedal is absolutely out of this world. Paying homage to NASA’s ground-breaking, three-person space voyage, the Apollo VII incorporates three controls to reflect that pioneering event. Utilise tone, level and gain to launch your sound into a whole new stratosphere!
Space is the Place
The pedal utilises the well-loved tone-shaping and drive from the Spaceman Voyager I tremolo, building upon it with some impressive new creative options. Each of the three aforementioned controls has been designed to provide you with a greater depth and breadth of sounds; you’ll even have up to 40dB of gain available on tap!
Switch it up
A toggle switch enables you to swap between a further three settings: silicon diode clipping, no diodes and LED clipping. Silicon diode clipping offers a powerful, more compressed sound (and a smoother decay); no diodes leads to higher sensitivity, with more bite and varied dynamics; LED clipping adds a lot more mid-range dirt and precision.
Born in the USA
High levels of attention to detail have been paid to the Apollo’s build. Each pedal is manufactured and hand-wired in Portland and features a soft-touch footswitch and true-bypass relay switching – all in a solid metal housing. This makes it an extra rugged addition to your pedalboard. A jewel indicator light allows for quick and easy referencing in the deepest depths of space (or even just a dark and dingy venue!)
