The quirky styling is the first thing you notice about the Jetstream, but under the unique aesthetic lies a range of equally unique tones. All Jetstreams feature the stylish, angular, offset double cutaway body that doesn't sacrifice comfort for looks. They also feature Wilkinson trem bridges for fluid pitch bending with great tuning stability.
When it comes to pickup configurations, the Jetstream comes in two variations:
- Jetstream 390: The 390 version is like an S-Type guitar from another dimension. With its triple P90 pickup configuration and 5-way blade switch you get similar tones to an S-Type albeit with the warmer, fatter sound that P90s are known for.
- Jetstream RB: The RB version features two of Reverend's Retroblast mini-humbuckers. These mini-humbuckers offer a tone that is thicker and more powerful than a single-coil but with a more articulate and percussive sound than a regular humbucker.
