How Loyalty Points Work
What are points worth?
Points are worth a 1p discount for every point you redeem. For example, if you have 1000 points, you can redeem them for a £10 discount on any purchase.
How many points will I earn when I shop?
We display the number of points available for a product on the product's page on our website. Normally we'll give you one point for every pound you spend, but watch out for double and triple points deals for even more savings!
Positive Grid are one of the biggest players in the world of modelling amps and software.
Once upon a time, a tube head and cabinet was the only way to go for many guitarists. But now the likes of Positive Grid are serious challengers to the norm because of the massive variety in tones for all playing styles on offer, and the reliability to show up at any venue and produce the exact sound intended for your audience every time.
BIAS FX was the world’s first cross-platform amp and effects processor and has been promoted by the likes of Periphery guitarist Mark Holcomb, Animals As Leaders frontman Tosin Abasi and Ola Englund.
The company was formed in 2008 when CEO Calvin Abel teamed up with a few engineer and musician friends. They looked to put all a guitarist’s needs for recording and practicing into one handy product. Their first project developed into the multi-effects JamUp mobile app that included a phrase sampler and eight-track recorder.
It eventually led to the creation of the BIAS FX and modelling head. The FX software is one of the most detailed of its kind in the world, letting the user customise every aspect of an emulated amp and effects signal. You can change anything as small as the amp’s transformer right up to the microphone position, or simply design the look of the tolex case on your virtual cab.
Positive Grid’s flagship products remain the BIAS FX and head. The head is a light and portable preamp that saves rig and effects chains designed on BIAS FX. It features all the EQ settings you’d expect from any tube head but with 100 times the versatility. It also comes in a powered version for use with passive speakers, a rack-mountable model or a mini model with barebones controls.
The latest Tonecloud website created by Positive Grid lets you share or download user-created amp or effects chain presets, so you can use exact same tones crafted by the likes of Tosin Abasi and Rusty Cooley on your BIAS head.
The BIAS AMP 2 is their latest plug-in for ultimate amp customisation. Mix and match components to create your ideal tube sound. It features new touch responsiveness and dynamics parameters, on top of more tubes, transformers and speakers to choose from than before. The speaker cabinet module has been redesigned for multi-microphone possibilities.
They have also introduced a new range of effects pedals for distortion, modulation and delay with on-the-fly EQ controls. All can be loaded with up to 20 customised presets you can design with BIAS FX or download from Tonecloud.
