You can emulate the famous sound of a studio echo chamber with the Keeley Abbey Chamber Verb. With this small pedal, you can convincingly imitate that distinctive tone without having to go to a large and expensive studio. Abbey studio had 3 of these chambers, hence the name.
Classic and Authentic Sounds
An echo chamber is a large, reflective studio space that recreates the amazing reverb sounds heard in a church or hall. The Abbey Chamber Verb delivers its renowned sound, and you can achieve genuine and authentic reverb thanks to its broad range of features and design.
The small, well-built enclosure means you can get this iconic sound without filling up important space on your pedalboard.
Refine Your Reverb
The four controls parameters provide great flexibility to refine and tweak. The Blend works as a mix , letting you dial in how much of the effect is in your signal. This means you can add some light space to you tone or engulf it for some incredible ambience.
You can use the Decay knob to easily adjust the length of the reverb tail, with the Pre-Delay producing a fast doubling sound when set low. A slapback-style echo is produced the higher you turn it, perfect if you like country music.
Shape the tone of the reverb with the Brilliance control. This control lets you cut by +/-10 dB across 3 frequency bands, which you can select with the 3-way switch. At 2.7K, 3.5K and 10K, you can tweak the Brilliance to EQ your perfect reverb tone, from soft and deep reflections to bright ambience.
"These pedals are designed to appeal to players who want to achieve studio-like tones live without the need for complicated DAW software or an engineering degree with some carpentry skills thrown in. And let’s not discount the aesthetics either, as these pedals look the business, too ± and who doesn’t like good looking pedals on their boards?" - Guitar.com
