The Fender 68 Custom Vibrolux Guitar amp is a gorgeous sounding tube amp with 2 versatile channels. As part of the Fender Modified Series, Fender have taken a Classic amp from their 60's catalogue and transformed it into a present day masterpiece with updated styling and fantastic modifications to suit the modern performer.
1968 was a transitional year for Fender amps. Whilst maintaining the classic Fender identity, the design of the original vibrolux was fresh and classy with a silver and turquoise front panel and aluminium "drip-edge" grille cloth trim. The New 68' Vintage Modified Vibrolux pays tribute to that classic look and ethos of the original to create a time honoured amp that provides all guitarists with a go-to amp for that classic fender tone.
Whether you are a keen ameteur or gigging professional, the Vibrolux '68 Custom amp is a great compact gig ready choice with great versatility. Featuring 35W of all tube power running through a 2x10 Celestion TEN 30 speaker configuration, the Vibrolux sits between the Dulux Reverb and Twin Reverb with its own distinctive tone. The amp has a choice of two channels, Vintage and Custom, that both have Classic Fender Reverb and tremolo tone options. The "custom" channel has a modified Bassman tone stack that gives modern players greater tonal flexibility with pedals. You can even use an AB box to set channels differently, or blend both together for a fatter and more saturated sound. Other great features include the addition of a bright switch on both channels for shimmering clean tones, quicker gain onset and reduced negative feedback for greater touch sensitivity.
