Product Description
The Alvarez MU55 Masterworks is a stunning all-solid ukulele that delivers big tone with a planet-conscious twist. Built from solid Bamboo — a fast-growing, highly sustainable material — this is a uke that sounds great and makes you feel good about your choice too.
Smart & stable construction
Alvarez haven’t cut any corners here. You get their signature dovetail neck joint for superb strength and resonance, helping every note ring out clearly. The minimal, carefully designed bracing keeps the response quick and lively, while the solid slotted bridge boosts projection and makes restringing nice and easy. It’s all been properly thought through.
Bamboo build
Bamboo might not be traditional, but it absolutely works. It delivers a lively, warm tone with great sustain — perfect for ukulele. It’s also more affordable, which means you’re getting an all-solid, pro-level instrument at a cracking price. Win-win.
Ready for stage & studio
Want to plug in? No worries. The MU55TE comes equipped with the Alvarez AUE 20 preamp system and built-in tuner, so whether you’re recording at home or playing live, you're always in control of your sound.
Premium appointments throughout
You’ve got carefully seasoned tonewoods, a genuine bone nut and saddle for enhanced tone, a smooth Mahogany neck that feels great in the hand, plus reliable, high-quality tuners to keep everything stable.
