Product Description
If you’re after a ukulele that feels as good as it sounds, the Alvarez Artist Series AU90TCE is a great shout. It’s a super lively, refined instrument that’s been designed to give you a really open, responsive feel with plenty of projection, rich volume and a beautifully balanced tone.
Smart construction & enhanced resonance
Alvarez haven’t cut corners here either. You’ll find their signature dovetail neck joint for excellent strength and energy transfer between the neck and body, so everything resonates just as it should. The bracing is a clever tweak on traditional fan bracing too, helping the uke respond quickly and accurately to your playing.
Add in the solid slotted Rosewood bridge, which boosts projection and makes restringing a breeze, and you’ve got a seriously well-thought-out instrument.
Ready for stage & studio
Plugging in? No problem. The AU90TCE comes fitted with Alvarez’s AUE 20 EQ preamp system, complete with a built-in tuner. That means whether you’re recording at home or performing live, you’ll always sound great and be in tune!
Premium appointments throughout
Elsewhere, you’re looking at premium touches throughout. We’re talking carefully seasoned tonewoods, a real bone nut and saddle for improved tone, a smooth Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard and reliable, high-quality tuners.
Features
- Tenor body shape: Delivers extra warmth, volume and projection compared to smaller uke body sizes. The handy cutaway also means you can comfortably reach those higher frets.
- Figured Acacia top, back and sides: Not just easy on the eyes, this material brings a rich, punchy tone with plenty of clarity and character.
- Engineered Rosewood fingerboard and bridge: Feels great under your fingers while providing consistent performance. Paired with a solid bridge, it helps maximise sustain and overall resonance.
- Real bone nut and saddle: Enhances sustain and improves tonal transfer, giving you a clearer, more defined sound across all strings.
- AUE 20 EQ preamp with tuner: Ready for the stage straight out of the box, the onboard AUE20 system lets you plug in and play with confidence.
