Blackbox 2 is a compact next-generation sampling studio designed for DAWless music production, live performance and portable creativity. Building upon the success of the original blackbox, this updated version delivers twice the processing power alongside an intuitive 4” high-resolution colour touchscreen for fast and expressive workflow control. Whether you are recording loops, triggering one shots, slicing beats or building detailed multisampled instruments, Blackbox 2 provides an exceptionally flexible environment for music creation.

Featuring four adaptable tracks with support for Shredder, Loop, One Shot, Slicer, Multisample and External Instrument modes, Blackbox 2 is equally suited to studio production and live electronic performance. Integrated sequencing tools include piano roll editing, step sequencing, probability functions and scene launching for fluid arrangement building and improvisation. DJs and performers can manipulate sounds in real time using expressive XY effects, live looping and resampling features.

With built-in battery power offering up to three hours of operation, Blackbox 2 is ready for music-making wherever inspiration strikes. Extensive connectivity includes USB-C audio and MIDI integration, stereo inputs and outputs, TRS MIDI and clock connections, plus support for large microSD sample libraries.
