Product Description
The Zildjian S Family Performer Cymbal Pack is a complete, gig-ready set built for drummers who want to step up from entry-level cymbals into a brighter, more expressive sound. Centred around Zildjian’s amped-up B12 alloy and a brilliant finish, this pack delivers punchy projection, musical warmth and a wide dynamic range that works in rehearsal rooms, on stage and in the studio.
Carefully curated sizes and weights make this a versatile all-rounder for modern players. The 14 inch hi hats offer crisp definition and a solid “chick”, the 16 and 18 inch medium thin crashes open up quickly with explosive attack, and the 20 inch medium ride balances clear stick definition with a shimmering wash. Whether you are laying down grooves, driving a rock chorus or adding colour to more nuanced styles, the S Performer pack gives you the tools to be heard clearly in the mix.
Each cymbal in the S Family benefits from extensive hammering and lathing, giving them a refined, contemporary voice that responds to every nuance of your playing. Light touches produce articulate, controlled tones, while harder hits unlock the full, bright roar that cuts through guitars and keys. This makes the pack ideal for serious drummers who need one set of cymbals to cover multiple genres and situations.
Visually, the brilliant finish commands attention under stage lights and adds a professional look to any kit. Sonically, the balanced B12 alloy sits comfortably between the warmth of traditional cymbals and the cut of modern, brighter designs. If you are ready to upgrade from your starter cymbals and want a cohesive, great-sounding set that will grow with you, the Zildjian S Family Performer Cymbal Pack is a powerful next step.
Expressive, Versatile Sound
Designed for serious drummers, the S Performer pack offers a wide dynamic range and fast response, so you can play with subtlety or power without losing clarity. The cymbals speak quickly and decay musically, making them suitable for everything from tight grooves to explosive accents.
Amped-Up B12 Alloy
Crafted from Zildjian’s B12 alloy, these cymbals blend warmth and brightness in a way that feels both modern and musical. The alloy, combined with extensive hammering and lathing, produces a focused, cutting tone that still retains body and character, helping your parts sit confidently in the mix.
Complete Performer’s Setup
With 14 inch hi hats, 16 and 18 inch medium thin crashes and a 20 inch medium ride, this pack gives you a fully matched cymbal setup straight out of the box. The sizes and weights are chosen to complement expressive playing, so your transitions between hats, crashes and ride feel natural and cohesive.
Striking Brilliant Finish
The brilliant finish not only enhances projection but also gives your kit a polished, professional look. Under lights it catches the eye, while the bright, shimmering tone ensures your cymbals are heard as clearly as they are seen.
