Product Description
The Yamaha FS820BL is a compact concert-bodied acoustic that delivers clear, balanced tone in a sleek black finish. Combining Yamaha’s renowned build quality with a comfortable smaller body, it is an ideal choice for beginners, developing players and anyone who wants a great-sounding guitar that is easy to live with and inspiring to play every day.
With a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides and carefully engineered bracing, the FS820BL offers a rich, articulate sound that works just as well for delicate fingerpicking as it does for strummed chords. Whether you are practising at home, working on songs for recording or taking a reliable acoustic on your travels, this guitar gives you a versatile, musical voice in a manageable, player-friendly package.
Comfortable Concert Body
The FS820BL features Yamaha’s smaller concert body shape, which is noticeably easier to hold than a full-size dreadnought. This makes it a great fit for players with smaller builds, younger guitarists or anyone who prefers a more compact instrument that sits comfortably whether you are seated on the sofa or standing with a strap.
Clear, Balanced Acoustic Tone
Designed to deliver a clear and balanced sound, the FS820BL responds beautifully to both fingerstyle and chord work. The focused low end, present mids and sweet highs help every note ring out with definition, making it easier to hear your playing and develop good technique as you progress.
Yamaha Quality at an Accessible Price
Yamaha are known for producing reliable, great-sounding instruments at every price point, and the FS820BL is no exception. With quality tonewoods and consistent construction, it offers dependable performance for daily practice and long-term use, giving beginners and intermediate players a solid platform to grow with.
Ideal for Home Practice and Recording
The more compact body of the FS820BL is not just comfortable, it also helps produce a controlled, articulate sound that works particularly well at home volumes and in simple recording setups. Its balanced tone sits nicely in a mix, making it a practical choice for home recording enthusiasts and songwriters.
Features
- Smaller Concert Body - The compact concert body is easier to hold and play, especially for players with smaller frames or those who find larger guitars uncomfortable. This encourages longer, more relaxed practice sessions and helps developing guitarists build confidence.
- Clear and Balanced Sound - Voiced for clarity and balance, the FS820BL delivers articulate lows, defined mids and smooth highs. This makes it equally suitable for fingerpicking patterns and full chords, giving you a versatile acoustic tone for a wide range of styles.
- True Yamaha Craftsmanship - Built with Yamaha’s acoustic expertise, the FS820BL benefits from consistent construction and thoughtful design. The result is a guitar that feels solid in the hands, stays playable over time and rewards regular use with dependable tone.
- Ideal for Everyday Players - Recommended for beginner to intermediate guitarists, home practice and travelling players, the FS820BL offers an inviting playing experience that makes it easy to pick up and play. Its combination of comfort and sound quality helps keep you motivated as your skills improve.
