Yamaha CGS103AII 3/4 Size Classical Guitar in Gloss Natural

The Yamaha CGS103AII is a 3/4 size classical guitar designed specifically for younger learners, smaller players and first-time beginners. With its shorter 580 mm scale and compact body, it is far easier to hold and play than a full-size classical, while still delivering the warm, mellow nylon-string tone you expect from a traditional instrument.

Perfect for school students, lessons and as a first acoustic instrument, the CGS103AII helps new players build confidence and good technique from day one. The lightweight construction, comfortable neck and forgiving nylon strings all work together to make practice more enjoyable and less physically demanding, encouraging longer playing sessions and faster progress.

Whether you are buying for a child, a smaller-framed player or a younger musician moving up from ukulele or a mini guitar, this model offers a smooth, approachable playing experience. Yamaha's reliable build quality and carefully chosen materials mean the CGS103AII will stand up to regular practice while providing a consistent, musical sound that keeps players inspired.

Comfortable 3/4 Size Classical Body

The reduced-size classical body makes the CGS103AII much easier for smaller players to hold correctly. The shorter reach to the first fret and more compact overall dimensions help younger learners adopt a natural playing posture, reducing strain on hands, arms and shoulders.

Beginner Friendly Neck and Scale Length

A 580 mm scale length and 48 mm nut width provide a comfortable balance between playability and proper classical spacing. Chords and single notes feel manageable for smaller hands, helping beginners develop clean fretting and accurate finger placement without feeling overstretched.

Traditional Nylon String Sound

With a spruce top and meranti back and sides, the CGS103AII produces a warm, rounded nylon-string tone that is ideal for classical pieces, folk tunes and simple song accompaniments. The responsive sound rewards a light touch, encouraging good dynamics and musical expression from the very start.

Durable, Lightweight Construction

The laminate body construction keeps the guitar light and easy to handle while offering solid durability for everyday use. It is well suited to regular practice, lessons and transport between home and school, giving beginners a dependable instrument they can learn on with confidence.
