Vox Adio Air 50w Bass Guitar Modelling Amp with Bluetooth

The Vox Adio Air BS is a compact, lightweight 50 watt stereo bass amp that doubles as a full featured Bluetooth speaker. Packed with amp models, effects and wireless connectivity, it is perfect for practising, recording, jamming along to tracks or simply enjoying your music, all from a portable unit that fits easily on a desk, shelf or rehearsal space.

Despite its small footprint, the Adio Air BS delivers a surprisingly big, wide sound thanks to its dual 3 inch speakers and 25 watts per side of solid state power. Whether you are dialling in punchy modern tones, vintage warmth or clean, full range playback for your favourite tracks, this amp gives you the flexibility to cover a wide range of bass styles and situations.

Portable Power for Bass Players

With 25 watts RMS per side into 8 ohms, the Adio Air BS offers a total of 50 watts of stereo output, giving you an impressive sense of volume and clarity from a very small enclosure. It is powerful enough for home practice, teaching, small jams and monitoring, while remaining easy to carry at just 2.9 kg. Battery operation is also available, so you can play or listen away from mains power for up to 8 hours with alkaline batteries.

Versatile Amp Models and Effects

The Adio Air BS comes loaded with 11 bass amp models out of the box, expanding to 17 when used with Vox's Tone Room software. This lets you move from tight, modern tones to classic, driven sounds at the turn of a dial. Eight onboard effects, expandable to 19 via Tone Room, provide compression, modulation, delay and reverb options, so you can shape your sound without needing extra pedals. User programmes let you store and recall your favourite setups quickly.

Wireless Bluetooth and USB Connectivity

Built in Bluetooth audio streaming means the Adio Air BS can act as a high quality wireless speaker for your phone, tablet or computer. You can jam along to backing tracks, practise with online lessons or simply listen to music, all through the same compact unit. Bluetooth low energy MIDI support allows for wireless control when used with compatible devices, while the USB port (type B) offers a direct digital connection for recording or software editing.

Practice Friendly Features

An aux input lets you plug in external audio sources directly, and the dedicated headphone output provides silent practice whenever you need it. The front panel controls are clearly laid out, with separate instrument output level and audio level controls so you can balance your bass and backing tracks easily. With 24 bit A/D and D/A conversion at 44.1 kHz, the internal signal processing keeps your tone clear and detailed at all times.

• 50 Watt Stereo Output in a Compact Cabinet - Two 25 watt RMS power amps driving a pair of 3 inch speakers deliver a wide, immersive stereo sound that belies the Adio Air BS's small size. You get enough volume and headroom for serious practice and small jam sessions without sacrificing portability.
• 11 Amp Models and 8 Effects Onboard - A versatile selection of amp models and effects lets you cover everything from clean, hi fi bass to gritty rock tones. With up to 17 amp models and 19 effects available via Tone Room, you can fine tune your sound and store it in user programmes for instant recall.
• Bluetooth Audio and MIDI - Integrated Bluetooth audio streaming turns the Adio Air BS into a wireless speaker for backing tracks and music playback. Bluetooth low energy MIDI support enables wireless control and editing from compatible devices, reducing cable clutter and making it easy to tweak sounds on the fly.
• Battery Powered Portability - Weighing only 2.9 kg and offering up to 8 hours of operation with alkaline batteries, the Adio Air BS is ideal for mobile practice, lessons or playing in spaces where mains power is not convenient. You can set up quickly and play almost anywhere.
