Product Description
From legendary Plexi-style crunch to instantly recognisable dark, sagging saturation, the RD module boasts the best of British amp tone with two identical, fully independent channels and two distinguished amp flavours at the flick of a switch. This is an incredible all-valve addition to your modular Synergy amp based on some of the most iconic amps used on records and stages around the world, delivering crisp hard rock rhythm tones, searing leads and thick high gain.
Rock and Dark voicings
In rock mode, the RD produces the tight, articulated, angsty tones of a classic British amplifier. These are sounds that remain as popular as ever since their inception in the late sixties. The bold midrange exacts defined punch, making for brilliant hard rock and heavy metal, whether its for rhythm or singing leads.
Switch over to dark for a more modern, heavily saturated thickness. This voicing channels a unique style of gain: more compressed, more bleed in the low-end and delivering higher levels of sustain. Ideal for ‘90s-influenced metal onwards, doomy sludge and glossy leads tones.
Two Channel customisation
Each of the two identical channels has their own gain, EQ, volume, bright, and voicing settings for seamless rhythm-to-lead switching at the press of a button. Fancy two tonally tweaked versions of the same Rock or Dark voicing? You can absolutely do that! The RD is like having two amps in one – customise vintage and modern voicings, lead and rhythm settings, or build entirely different gain structures to switch up your sound to suit your style.
Tone detailing features
The bright switch and its three different settings let you boost or reduce high-end frequencies as you see fit. Whether you need extra bite or a smoother response, you can select your tone with quick flexibility.
Synergy module design
Synergy modules are designed to be quickly interchangeable within a modular amp head or combo, letting you switch between drastically different, all-valve tones of the highest quality.
