Warwick Streamer Basses

Introduced in 1982, the Streamer is a core part of Warwick’s line-up. With renowned players such as Mike Inez (Alice in Chains), Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai) and Rob Trujillo (Metallica) using them, it's clear that Warwick Streamer models can meet the demands of even the industry's biggest stars.

Most German-made (GPS) Warwicks feature US Cherrywood bodies, joined with bolt-on Ovangkol or Maple necks. Together, these woods yield balanced tones with plenty of top-end vibrancy, ensuring adequate definition for fingerstyle playing. The signature clarity of a Warwick bass can also be attributed to its electronics. Installed with two punchy-sounding passive MEC single-coil pickups, these can be controlled typically via an active onboard 2-band EQ; making on-the-fly tone-tweaking super easy.

There are other versions of the Streamer available on the market.The Streamer LX is very similar to the standard model, but features a P-bass style neck pickup instead of a regular single-coil. This version thus offers a slightly broader palette of tones. The Streamer CV is a more traditional bass, with a conventional construction. Featuring a light Swamp Ash body and a Maple neck, this bass also has a tasteful scratchplate design and all-passive electronics. Last but not least, the Warwick Streamer NT is a neck-through version, which offers increased sustain.
