Strandberg Boden Standard 5-String Bass Guitar in Blue Aura Metallic

The Strandberg Boden Standard 5 Bass in Blue Aura Metallic is a feather-light, multi-scale 5-string designed for modern players who demand huge tone without the backache. Combining an ergonomic body, the patented EndurNeck profile and powerful Fishman Fluence electronics, it delivers a focused, punchy sound that can be tailored for any gig, from tight studio sessions to big festival stages.

With its basswood body, roasted maple neck and fretboard, and advanced hardware, the Boden Standard 5 offers exceptional comfort, tuning stability and clarity across the entire 33 to 35 inch scale range. Whether you are a technical player exploring extended-range ideas or a groove-focused bassist needing rock-solid low end all night long, this bass is built to keep up with you.

Ultra-light, Ergonomic Design

The Boden Standard 5 is built around Strandberg’s signature ergonomic body shape and multi-scale layout, resulting in a bass that feels incredibly natural whether you play seated or standing. The feather-weight construction reduces fatigue during long rehearsals and shows, while the carefully sculpted contours encourage a relaxed, efficient playing posture so you can focus purely on your performance.

EndurNeck for Effortless Playability

Featuring the unique EndurNeck profile, the roasted maple neck guides your fretting hand into an optimal, relaxed position. The faceted shape supports your thumb and fingers more evenly, helping to reduce strain and improve accuracy, especially during demanding passages and extended sets. Combined with the 20 inch radius roasted maple fretboard and 24 frets, it offers fast, consistent playability across all five strings.

Fishman Fluence Power and Versatility

Loaded with Fishman Fluence Bass 5 Soapbar pickups and an active 2-band preamp, the Boden Standard 5 delivers a stadium-ready tone with exceptional clarity and punch. The master volume with push/pull coil-split, pickup balance, bass/treble stack and 3-way voice selector give you instant access to a wide palette of sounds, from tight, modern articulation to warmer, more traditional voices, making it easy to adapt to any style or mix.

Modern Construction, Stable Performance

A solid basswood body provides a focused, deep tonal foundation, while the roasted maple neck and fretboard add stability and a crisp, articulate top end. Reinforced with walnut and carbon fibre, the neck is designed to remain stable across changing conditions. The EGS Rev2 bridge and individual string locks, finished in black anodised hardware, ensure precise intonation and reliable tuning so your sound stays consistent night after night.

• Feather-weight, Ergonomic Body - The solid basswood body with Strandberg’s sculpted design keeps the overall weight extremely low, reducing shoulder and back fatigue while promoting a natural playing position for long, comfortable sessions.
• EndurNeck Multi-scale Neck - A 33 to 35 inch multi-scale layout paired with the EndurNeck profile improves string tension balance, intonation and ergonomics, giving you a tight, responsive low B and consistent feel across all strings.
• Fishman Fluence Bass 5 Electronics - Fishman Fluence Bass 5 Soapbar pickups with an active 2-band preamp, coil-split and 3-way voice selector provide a huge range of tones, from clean and hi-fi to punchy and aggressive, so you can cover multiple genres with one instrument.
