Product Description
The Strandberg Boden Bass Standard 4 in Blue Aura Metallic is a feather-light, ultra-modern bass designed to deliver stadium-filling tone without the back-breaking weight. Combining a multi-scale layout, the patented EndurNeck profile, Fishman Fluence electronics and a sleek ergonomic body, it is built for players who demand cutting-edge playability, rock-solid tuning stability and a wide palette of professional sounds.
With its Basswood body, Roasted Maple neck and fretboard, and premium stainless steel frets, this Boden Bass Standard 4 is engineered for long gigs, intensive touring and precise studio work. From tight, focused low end to articulate highs that cut through any mix, it offers the clarity and control modern bassists need, wrapped up in a striking Blue Aura Metallic satin finish.
Effortless Ergonomics and Ultra-Low Weight
The Boden Bass Standard 4 is designed around Strandberg’s signature ergonomic concept, with carefully sculpted body contours and an incredibly low overall weight. This reduces shoulder and back fatigue, making it ideal for long rehearsals, extended sets and demanding tours where comfort is as important as tone.
EndurNeck Profile for Speed and Stability
Featuring the patented EndurNeck profile, the Roasted Maple neck encourages a more relaxed, natural hand position that supports faster, cleaner playing. The unique geometry helps reduce strain, promotes consistent technique across the neck and offers excellent stability, perfect for technically demanding modern styles.
Fishman Fluence Power and Versatility
Loaded with Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar pickups and an active 2-band preamp, this bass delivers a broad range of usable tones at the flick of a switch. From deep, authoritative lows to bright, cutting slap sounds, the multi-voice system and coil-split options let you adapt instantly to different genres, stages and sessions.
Modern Multi-Scale Precision
The 33 to 34.5 inch multi-scale configuration optimises string tension and intonation across the fretboard. The longer scale on the lower strings keeps the low end tight and defined, while the slightly shorter scale on the higher strings improves playing comfort and feel, giving you a responsive, balanced instrument that stays in tune and in control.
Features
- Ultra-Light Ergonomic Basswood Body - The solid Basswood body keeps the instrument weight extremely low while providing a focused, punchy tonal core. Combined with Strandberg’s ergonomic shaping, it helps reduce fatigue and makes the bass feel almost weightless on stage.
- Roasted Maple EndurNeck with Stainless Steel Frets - The Roasted Maple neck and fretboard offer enhanced stability and resistance to environmental changes, while the EndurNeck profile supports relaxed, efficient technique. Stainless steel frets provide a smooth feel, long-lasting durability and clear note definition.
- Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar Pickups with Active 2-Band EQ - Fishman Fluence Bass 4 pickups deliver powerful, noise-free performance with multiple voicings. The active 2-band EQ, coil-split via push/pull and 3-way voice selector give you instant access to a wide range of tones, from vintage-inspired warmth to modern hi-fi clarity.
- Multi-Scale EGS Rev2 Hardware - The EGS Rev2 4-string bridge and individual string locks are purpose-built for the multi-scale layout, ensuring precise intonation and solid tuning stability. The black anodised hardware complements the modern aesthetic while standing up to the rigours of regular gigging.
