Sontronics Solo W1 - Dynamic Capsule For Shure Wireless Microphones

The Sontronics Solo W1 is a supercardioid dynamic capsule designed for use with compatible Shure wireless handheld transmitters, giving you the freedom of wireless performance with the clarity and character of the acclaimed Sontronics SOLO microphone. Whether you are on stage, on camera or in the conference room, it delivers a focused, natural vocal sound that is easy to place in any mix.

Carrying over the same tonal DNA as the wired SOLO, the Solo W1 keeps vocals present and intelligible, even in loud environments. Its tight supercardioid pattern helps reject unwanted spill from drums, backline and PA, so what your audience hears is your voice, not the stage noise around you.

Engineered with a neodymium magnet and lightweight aluminium voice coil, the capsule offers impressive output and a fast, musical response. With a wide frequency range and high SPL handling, it is equally at home with powerful rock vocals, spoken word presentations or broadcast work.

Signature SOLO Sound, Now Wireless

The Solo W1 is voiced to match the much-loved Sontronics SOLO handheld mic, giving you a clear, balanced tone that flatters a wide range of voices. This means you can move from wired to wireless without losing the familiar SOLO character, keeping your vocal sound consistent from rehearsal to stage to studio.

Supercardioid Focus for Demanding Stages

Thanks to its supercardioid polar pattern, the Solo W1 offers excellent off-axis rejection, helping to keep feedback at bay and reduce bleed from other sources. This focused pickup makes it ideal for busy stages, loud bands and challenging acoustic spaces where clarity and control are essential.

Built for Live, Presentation and Broadcast

From lead vocals and backing singers to presenters and hosts, the Solo W1 is designed to slot straight into professional workflows. Its articulate midrange and controlled low end keep speech and singing intelligible, while the smooth top end avoids harshness on sibilant voices, making it a strong choice for live sound, corporate events and broadcast applications.

Rugged Construction, Refined Performance

A hard black anodised body and robust steel grille protect the capsule from the knocks of everyday use, while the internal design focuses on delivering reliable performance night after night. The combination of durable construction and refined voicing makes the Solo W1 a dependable upgrade for compatible Shure wireless systems.

• Signature Sontronics SOLO Tonal Character - Voiced to deliver the same clear, balanced sound as the wired SOLO microphone, the Solo W1 keeps vocals natural and present so they sit comfortably in the mix without excessive EQ.
• Supercardioid Polar Pattern - The tight supercardioid pickup focuses on the source directly in front of the capsule, reducing stage spill and ambient noise for improved clarity and better feedback control in live environments.
• High SPL Handling up to 140dB - With the ability to handle very high sound pressure levels with less than 1 percent THD, the Solo W1 takes powerful singers and loud stages in its stride, maintaining detail and definition even at high volumes.
• Optimised Dynamic Capsule Design - The combination of a neodymium magnet and aluminium voice coil provides strong output and a responsive feel, helping every nuance of your performance translate clearly through compatible Shure wireless systems.
