Product Description
The Sigma 000M-18 is a compact Triple-0 acoustic that blends classic looks with a focused, articulate voice. A solid Sitka spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides delivers a balanced sound with punchy mids, making it a natural fit for blues, folk and fingerstyle players who want clarity and character in every note.
Comfortable to hold and effortless to play, the 000M-18 features a low-profile neck that feels instantly familiar, while quality components like a compensated bone saddle and open-gear tuners help your guitar ring clearly and stay in tune. Subtle appointments such as tortoise-style binding and a smart pickguard complete a traditional aesthetic that looks as good on stage as it does at home.
Whether you are working on intricate fingerpicking patterns, accompanying your voice with warm chords or looking for a compact acoustic that records beautifully, the Sigma 000M-18 offers impressive performance and refinement at a highly accessible price point.
Balanced Triple-0 Tone
The 000M-18 uses the classic Triple-0 body shape, which naturally tightens up the low end and brings out a clear, present midrange. This makes it ideal for styles where note definition matters, such as blues turnarounds, melodic fingerstyle lines and detailed chord voicings that need to sit neatly in a mix.
Solid Sitka Spruce Top
A solid Sitka spruce top gives the guitar a lively, responsive character with plenty of headroom. It reacts sensitively to your touch, from the lightest fingerpicked passages to more vigorous strumming, and will continue to open up over time, rewarding regular playing with even richer tone.
Mahogany Back and Sides
The laminated mahogany back and sides support the spruce top with warmth and focus. Mahogany is known for its strong, woody midrange and smooth, controlled bass, helping your playing cut through without sounding harsh, and giving chords a pleasing, vintage-flavoured character.
Comfortable Neck and Reliable Hardware
The low-profile neck sits comfortably in the hand, encouraging longer playing sessions without fatigue and making complex chord shapes easier to reach. A compensated bone saddle enhances resonance and intonation across the fretboard, while chrome-plated open-gear tuners provide a classic look and stable tuning performance.
Features
- Compact Triple-0 Body - The smaller 000 body offers a comfortable playing experience whether you are seated or standing, with a focused, articulate sound that suits fingerstyle, blues and light strumming without becoming boomy.
- Solid Sitka Spruce Top - A solid spruce soundboard delivers a dynamic, responsive tone with plenty of clarity and projection, giving your playing nuance and detail that will continue to develop as the guitar ages.
- Mahogany Back and Sides - Mahogany construction adds warmth and a strong midrange presence, helping single notes and chords speak clearly while retaining a smooth, musical character that works across a wide range of acoustic styles.
- Compensated Bone Saddle and Open-Gear Tuners - The bone saddle improves sustain and resonance while aiding accurate intonation, and the chrome-plated open-gear tuners keep your tuning stable and precise with a traditional, vintage-inspired appearance.
