Sennheiser SKM 865-XSW-GB Handheld Transmitter With E865 Capsule - GB 606-630Mhz

The Sennheiser SKM 865-XSW-GB is a compact handheld transmitter for Sennheiser XSW wireless systems, fitted with the acclaimed e865 condenser capsule. Operating in the GB 606.6MHz to 630MHz band, it delivers natural, detailed vocal reproduction with excellent feedback rejection and rock-solid wireless performance, making it ideal for singers, presenters and spoken word performers who need reliable, great-sounding freedom on stage.

At the heart of the SKM 865-XSW-GB is Sennheiser’s pre-polarised condenser e865 capsule with a tight supercardioid polar pattern. This combination captures every nuance of your voice while keeping unwanted stage noise at bay. Presence emphasis in the capsule’s voicing helps your vocals cut through the mix with clarity and intelligibility, whether you are singing softly or pushing your dynamics to the limit.

Designed for use with Sennheiser XSW 1 and XSW 2 systems, the transmitter keeps setup simple thanks to automatic frequency management in a stable UHF band. Instead of wrestling with complex menus, you can get up and running quickly and focus on your performance. Once on stage, the SKM 865-XSW-GB maintains consistent sound quality even as you move the mic away from your lips or work off-axis, making it a strong choice for energetic performers.

Built from rugged ABS, this handheld transmitter is engineered to cope with the demands of regular live use. A convenient mute switch lets you silence the signal between songs or during stage changes without touching the receiver. With up to approximately 10 hours of operation from a pair of AA batteries, it is ready to handle long sets, rehearsals and events with dependable performance throughout.

e865 Condenser Capsule

The SKM 865-XSW-GB is equipped with Sennheiser’s e865 pre-polarised condenser capsule, delivering studio-like detail in a live-friendly format. Its natural frequency response with presence emphasis ensures your vocals remain clear and articulate, while its ability to handle high sound pressure levels keeps your tone clean and distortion-free, even when you sing with maximum power.

Supercardioid Focus and Feedback Rejection

With a supercardioid polar pattern, the e865 capsule offers excellent isolation of your voice from surrounding sound sources. This tight pickup pattern helps reduce bleed from instruments and monitors, improving feedback rejection and giving engineers more control at the desk. The result is a more focused, professional vocal sound on busy stages.

Intuitive Wireless Operation

Designed specifically for Sennheiser XSW 1 and XSW 2 systems, the SKM 865-XSW-GB features automatic frequency management in a stable UHF band. This simplifies setup and minimises the risk of interference, so you can get a reliable wireless link quickly and easily. The intuitive control layout keeps operation straightforward during shows.

Rugged and Performance Ready

A robust ABS housing keeps the SKM 865-XSW-GB ready for the rigours of live performance. The handy mute switch allows you to cut the signal instantly during breaks or announcements without adjusting the receiver. With an operating time of approximately 10 hours from two AA batteries, it is well suited to long gigs, conferences and events.
