Product Description
The Schecter Omen Extreme-II in Natural Gold Burst is a sleek, modern rock machine that blends eye-catching looks with serious performance. With its arched quilted maple top, powerful Schecter San Andreas humbuckers and ultra-playable thin C neck, it is built to handle everything from tight metal riffing to expressive lead work, all while looking the part under stage lights.
A mahogany body delivers a full, resonant core tone, while the premium quilted maple top adds snap and clarity, helping every note cut through a busy mix. The ebony fingerboard, offset metal ring inlays and black binding give the Omen Extreme-II a high-end aesthetic, backed up by rock-solid tuning stability from Schecter locking tuners and the Nouveau Ergo hardtail bridge. Add in coil-splitting versatility and a fast, comfortable neck, and you have a guitar that is ready for both studio and stage.
Powerful Modern Tone
At the heart of the Omen Extreme-II are Schecter San Andreas humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Voiced for punch, clarity and sustain, they excel at high-gain tones while still cleaning up nicely when you roll back the volume. From tight, palm-muted chugs to soaring leads, these pickups provide a confident, articulate response that keeps your sound defined even with heavier distortion.
Coil Split Versatility
The master tone control features a push-pull coil split, letting you switch the San Andreas humbuckers into single-coil mode for brighter, leaner tones. This gives you access to everything from thick, saturated humbucker sounds to more cutting, percussive textures, all from one guitar. Whether you are tracking layered parts in the studio or covering a wide range of styles live, the Omen Extreme-II adapts quickly to your needs.
Fast, Comfortable Neck
The rock maple bolt-on neck with a thin C profile is designed for speed and comfort. With a 25.5 inch scale length, 14 inch fingerboard radius and 24 jumbo frets, it offers a smooth, modern playing surface that suits fast runs, wide bends and precise technical playing. The ebony fingerboard adds a snappy, responsive feel under the fingers, while the offset metal ring inlays provide clear visual reference points without cluttering the look.
Stable Hardware and Striking Aesthetics
Chrome hardware, Schecter locking tuners and the Schecter Nouveau Ergo hardtail bridge work together to provide solid tuning stability and reliable intonation. The arched top body contour, black neck and body binding and premium quilted maple top in Natural Gold Burst give the guitar a sophisticated, high-impact appearance that stands out on any stage while remaining comfortable to play for extended sessions.
Features
- Mahogany Body with Premium Quilted Maple Top - The mahogany body supplies warmth, depth and sustain, while the quilted maple top adds brightness and definition. This classic combination delivers a balanced tone that works equally well for chunky rhythm work and singing lead lines.
- Schecter San Andreas Pickups with Coil Split - A pair of Schecter San Andreas humbuckers provide high-output, modern rock and metal tones with clarity and punch. The push-pull coil split on the tone control unlocks single-coil style sounds, greatly expanding your tonal palette without changing guitars.
- Thin C Neck with Ebony Fingerboard - The thin C neck profile, 25.5 inch scale and 14 inch radius create a fast, comfortable feel ideal for contemporary playing styles. The ebony fingerboard enhances attack and responsiveness, while the offset metal ring inlays give a distinctive, modern look that remains easy to navigate.
- Schecter Locking Tuners and Nouveau Ergo Bridge - Schecter locking tuners make string changes quicker and help maintain tuning stability during heavy playing. The Schecter Nouveau Ergo hardtail bridge offers a solid, dependable platform for accurate intonation and consistent sustain.
