Sabian 19" Artisan Crash Cymbal in Brilliant Finish

The Sabian 19" Artisan Crash in Brilliant Finish is a fast, dark and beautifully complex crash designed for drummers who want depth, warmth and musicality from every accent. Thin and highly responsive, it opens up instantly with a rich, full-bodied voice that sits effortlessly in acoustic, jazz and contemporary settings, while the brilliant finish adds visual sparkle under stage lights.

Remastered for enhanced complexity, this Artisan Crash combines high-density hand hammering with a raw bell and premium B20 bronze alloy to deliver a sophisticated blend of speed, projection and tonal colour. Whether you are shading a ballad, adding drama to a chorus or building dynamic swells, it responds to every touch with nuance and control.

The 19 inch size hits a sweet spot between quick, explosive crashes and broader, more orchestral swells, giving you a versatile cymbal that can cover main crash duties or complement an existing Artisan setup. Its thin weight and smooth decay make it easy to place in a mix without overpowering the rest of your kit, while still offering plenty of presence when you dig in.

Handcrafted as part of Sabian's premium Artisan series, this crash is built for players who value character and expressiveness over sheer volume. The complex, dark wash and detailed overtones reward subtle playing, making it an inspiring choice for studio work, small venues and any situation where musicality comes first.

Fast, Dark and Complex Response

The Artisan Crash delivers a quick, explosive attack followed by a dark, richly layered sustain that never becomes harsh. This makes it ideal for musical accents that feel expressive and controlled, rather than brash or overpowering.

High-Density Hand Hammering

Extensive hand hammering shapes the cymbal's profile and tension, creating a complex, organic tone with plenty of depth. The result is a crash that feels alive under the stick, responding differently at every dynamic level and encouraging expressive, dynamic playing.

Raw Bell for Added Articulation

The raw, unlathed bell provides clear, defined stick response and extra tonal focus at the centre of the cymbal. This adds articulation and projection when you play the bell, while also contributing to the overall darkness and complexity of the crash sound.

Thin Weight with Smooth Decay

With its thin weight, this 19 inch crash opens up easily at lower volumes and decays smoothly, making it easy to control in both live and studio environments. You get fast response and a musical fade that leaves plenty of space for the rest of your kit and the band.
