Rickenbacker 330 6-String Semi-Acoustic Electric Guitar in Walnut

The Rickenbacker 330 W Series in Walnut takes the company’s classic semi-acoustic design and gives it a beautifully understated, natural twist. With its solid walnut body, oil finish and iconic double cutaway silhouette, this 6-string delivers the instantly recognisable 330 sound in a more organic, tactile package that feels as good as it looks.

Combining a full-size semi-acoustic body with a set-in maple and walnut neck, maple fingerboard and a pair of Hi-Gain single-coil pickups, the 330 Walnut offers the bright chime, rich midrange and airy resonance that have defined Rickenbacker since the 1960s. It is a premium, USA-made instrument that will appeal to players who want classic jangle and characterful cleans with a more natural aesthetic and a familiar, comfortable playing feel.

Natural Walnut W Series Aesthetic

The 330 W Series replaces the traditional painted finish with a solid walnut body and smooth oil finish, showcasing the natural grain and colour of the wood. This gives each guitar a unique visual character and a more organic feel under the hands. The understated, satin-like sheen suits players who prefer a less flashy look while still enjoying a premium, high-end instrument.

Classic Semi-Acoustic 330 Design

At its core this is still very much a Rickenbacker 330, with a full-size semi-acoustic body and the company’s traditional sound hole shape for that unmistakable silhouette. The semi-acoustic construction adds air and resonance to every note, giving chords a three-dimensional quality and helping the guitar sit beautifully in a band mix. The double cutaway body also ensures easy access all the way up to the 21st fret.

Hi-Gain Single-Coil Clarity and Chime

Two Rickenbacker Hi-Gain single-coil pickups provide the full, rich and warm voice associated with the 330. Expect sparkling top-end chime, focused mids and a tight low end that works brilliantly for rhythm work, arpeggios and melodic lines. The Hi-Gain design offers plenty of output and presence, so your sound remains articulate and defined whether you are playing clean or pushing an amp into overdrive.

Comfortable Neck and Playability

The set-in neck pairs maple and walnut construction with a maple fingerboard, delivering a bright, responsive feel with excellent sustain. A 24.75 inch scale length, 10 inch fingerboard radius and simple dot markers keep the playing experience familiar and comfortable, while the neck dimensions provide a good balance between fast playability and solid chordal support. Gotoh machine heads complete the setup with smooth, precise tuning stability.

• Walnut Body with Oil Finish - The solid walnut body with an oil finish highlights the natural grain and character of the wood, giving each guitar a distinctive, organic look. The finish feels smooth and inviting, encouraging longer playing sessions while offering a more understated aesthetic compared to high-gloss finishes.
• Hi-Gain Single-Coil Pickups - A pair of Rickenbacker Hi-Gain single-coils deliver the classic 330 sound with full, rich warmth and plenty of chime. They provide excellent note definition and clarity, making this guitar ideal for jangly rhythm parts, articulate arpeggios and expressive lead lines.
• Semi-Acoustic Double Cutaway Body - The full-size semi-acoustic body with Rickenbacker’s traditional sound hole adds resonance and depth to your tone, while the double cutaway design gives easy access across all 21 frets. This combination makes the guitar equally at home on stage and in the studio.
• Comfortable Neck with Gotoh Machine Heads - A set-in maple and walnut neck with a maple fingerboard, 24.75 inch scale length and 10 inch radius offers a familiar, comfortable feel for both chords and lead work. Gotoh machine heads ensure reliable tuning stability, so you can focus on playing without constant retuning.
