What is an "RCF Approved" Bundle? This is just one of a number of packages that the Andertons team have been working on in collaboration with the expert technicians and product specialists at RCF, with the goal of curating a series of PA rigs that cover everything from solo performers right up to full band performances.
Product Description
RCF Says:
"A high-output column PA system with serious low-end authority. Four NXL 24-A MK2 columns provide 132 dB of clean, even coverage in a slim touring-grade enclosure, while dual SUB 18-AX subwoofers deliver earth-moving bass with full ACE integration and DSP control. A scalable, elegant system for larger events and demanding acoustic environments."
Where This System Excels
This is the NXL column system for those who need more — more output, more low-end extension, more vertical control in larger rooms. The NXL 24-A MK2 is a substantial step up from the NXL 14-A, housing four 6" neodymium woofers and a 3" neodymium titanium-dome compression driver in a tall, slim enclosure that reaches 132 dB maximum SPL from 2100W peak bi-amplification. Its 30-degree vertical dispersion pattern is tighter than the NXL 14-A's, making it even more effective in large reverberant spaces where controlling reflections is essential.
Paired with dual SUB 18-AX subwoofers — each delivering 135 dB from an 18" driver with full ACE integration — this system produces the kind of full-range, venue-filling sound usually associated with significantly more complex rigs. It's well suited to larger function venues, houses of worship, corporate productions, and outdoor events where a conventional point-source system would either be acoustically unsuitable or aesthetically out of place. Ideal for audiences up to around 300 people.
Who's This System For?
- Larger corporate events and conference productions
- Houses of worship and large ceremony spaces
- High-end wedding venues and hotel ballrooms
- DJ and live event production in acoustically challenging rooms
- Events with up to ~300 attendees

RCF NXL 24-A MK2 Active Column Loudspeakers
The NXL 24-A MK2 is the mid-range model in RCF's professional NXL active column series and represents a significant increase in output and low-frequency extension over the NXL 14-A. Four 6" neodymium woofers work alongside a 3" neodymium compression driver with a titanium dome diaphragm, driven by a 2100W peak bi-amplified Class-D amplifier. The frequency response runs from 60 Hz to 20 kHz with a maximum SPL of 132 dB — a level of output that comfortably fills larger rooms.
The 3" titanium-dome compression driver is a notable upgrade from the NXL 14-A's PKX dome driver. Titanium diaphragms offer improved transient response, lower distortion at high levels, and enhanced durability — all meaningful improvements for performers who regularly push their system. The 800 Hz crossover point lets the compression driver handle a wide upper-frequency range with exceptional clarity. FiRPHASE zero-phase technology and Bass Motion Control complete the DSP package, ensuring the NXL 24-A MK2 remains accurate and coherent at any output level. M8 rigging points and Quick Lock pin positions allow flown deployment in permanent or semi-permanent installations.
RCF SUB 18-AX Active Subwoofers
The SUB 18-AX is RCF's flagship AX subwoofer, and it matches the NXL 24-A MK2 in both ambition and output. A 2200W peak Class-D amplifier drives the 18" driver with a 4" voice coil down to 35 Hz, with a maximum SPL of 135 dB. Two of these running together produces a low-end foundation that audiences feel physically — the kind of visceral bass presence that transforms a PA system into an immersive event experience.
The Advanced Crossover Engine (ACE) factory preset for RCF FiRPHASE speakers ensures the SUB 18-AX integrates seamlessly with the NXL 24-A MK2, aligning phase and timing with precision that a standard crossover cannot match. The full AX DSP suite — 8-band parametric EQ, cardioid mode, up to 45 metres of delay, and eight recallable snapshots — is accessible via the 2.4-inch colour touch panel or remotely via the RCF LiveRemote app. Two units can be paired wirelessly and operated as a synchronised pair from a single smartphone.
