Guitar Focused Front End

The Phantom Block is built around a high impedance ¼" input that is optimised for standard passive pickups, preserving clarity, dynamics and high end detail. This means your guitar responds naturally under the fingers, avoiding the dull, lifeless feel that can come from plugging straight into a low impedance input.

Flexible Gain, Tone and Level Control

With dedicated Gain, Tone and Master controls, you can shape your sound from clean and articulate through to driven and punchy, then set the overall output level to suit the PA or recording interface. This gives you the essential creative control you would expect from an amp front panel, but in a compact direct box format.

Switchable Cab Sim and FRFR Modes

A switchable cab sim circuit warms and smooths the electric guitar signal, helping it sit in a mix more like a miked amp. When you need a more neutral response for acoustic guitars, keyboards or other devices, FRFR mode keeps things wide range and full bandwidth, adding extra versatility to a single compact unit.

Multiple Power Options for Any Stage

The Phantom Block can be powered directly from 48V phantom power over its XLR output, from an external 9V DC pedal supply, or from an internal 9V battery. With up to around 100 hours of operation on a fresh battery, you can rely on it in situations where phantom power or pedal supplies are not available.
