Quilter Aviator Cub UK Amplifier Combo

The Quilter Aviator Cub UK is a compact, single channel combo that packs three classic British amp voices into one lightweight, gig-ready package. With up to 50 watts of tube-like power, a custom Eminence-designed 12 inch speaker and flexible output options, it delivers authentic AC and JMP-inspired tones at any volume, whether you are at home, in the studio or on stage.

At the heart of the Aviator Cub UK are three instantly recognisable voices: AC, AC Top Boost and JMP. Selected via the front panel voice inputs, these give you everything from jangly cleans and bright chime through to punchy, overdriven rock tones, all without the maintenance or weight of a traditional valve amp. A responsive gain control, musical limiter and active 3 band EQ let you fine-tune your sound to suit any guitar or playing style.

Quilter have partnered with Eminence to create a special design 12 inch speaker that captures the feel and response of vintage greenbacks while handling the full 50 watts of the Aviator Cub UK. The result is a lively, dynamic playing experience with plenty of headroom when you need it, and satisfying breakup when you push the amp harder.

For modern players, the Aviator Cub UK offers excellent connectivity and control. Separate SPKR VOL and SIG OUT levels mean you can set your onstage volume independently from the signal going to front of house or headphones, while the effects loop and onboard reverb integrate easily with your pedalboard. Lightweight, powerful and economical, it is an ideal grab-and-go solution for players who want classic British tones in a highly practical format.

Three Classic British Voices

The Aviator Cub UK gives you three iconic amp characters at your fingertips: AC for classic warmth, AC Top Boost for bright, articulate chime, and JMP for tighter, more aggressive drive. Switching voices is as simple as choosing the appropriate input, making it easy to move between genres or tailor your sound to different guitars.

Tube-Like Power and Feel

Delivering up to 50 watts of power, the Aviator Cub UK offers the punch and responsiveness you would expect from a valve amp, with solid-state reliability and consistency. The gain and limiter controls work together to shape everything from clean headroom to singing sustain, so you can dial in just the right amount of drive without losing clarity.

Custom Eminence 12 Inch Speaker

The custom Quilter Special Design 12 inch speaker, built by Eminence, is voiced to evoke the character of vintage greenbacks while handling modern power levels. This combination provides a familiar, musical midrange with tight lows and smooth highs, giving your chords and lead lines a classic British flavour.

Flexible Outputs and Practice Options

With separate SPKR VOL and SIG OUT controls, a balanced line out and a dedicated headphone output, the Aviator Cub UK adapts easily to any playing situation. Set a consistent signal level for the PA or recording, then adjust your own speaker volume independently, or mute the speaker entirely for silent practice with headphones.

• Three Classic British Voicings - AC, AC Top Boost and JMP voices cover everything from sparkling cleans to crunchy rock tones. Each voice has its own input, so you can quickly plug into the character that best suits your guitar and playing style.
• Up to 50 Watts of Tube-Like Power - The Aviator Cub UK delivers up to 50 watts of responsive, amp-like feel, giving you enough volume for rehearsals and gigs while still sounding full and lively at lower levels.
• Custom 12 Inch Eminence Speaker - The Quilter Special Design 12 inch speaker captures the essence of vintage greenback tones with improved power handling, providing a rich, musical response that complements the amp’s British-voiced preamp.
