Flexible Deployment and Cardioid Control

Whether you are ground stacking, flying arrays or using poles, the LS218 offers flexible deployment options. It can be used vertically or horizontally, with M20 threaded pole receivers and compatibility with array frame and ground-stack adapters, and is designed to complement QSC LA108 and LA112 active line array loudspeakers. Two or more LS218 units can be configured in a cardioid arrangement, focusing low frequency energy towards the audience while significantly reducing spill on stage and at the sides and rear of the system.

The LS218 is housed in a robust 15 mm birch plywood enclosure finished with a hard-wearing Polyurea coating, backed up by a heavy-duty powder-coated steel grille. With daisy-chain PowerCON TRUE1 AC connections and EtherCON network ports, it is ready for the demands of touring and rental work as well as permanent installations. A clear 2.4 inch full-colour display, rotary encoder and dedicated status LEDs make it easy to check system state and adjust settings quickly, even in low-light conditions.
