PRS Tekton SVN 7-String Electric Guitar in Fuchsia Aura

The PRS Tekton SVN is primed for progressive rock and metal players seeking a 7-string guitar that feels lightning-fast and like a natural extension of themselves. With its cutting-edge feature set, extended-range performance and modern, ergonomic design, this stellar instrument puts comfort and precision front and centre.

Boasting the thinnest body and neck PRS has ever offered on a standard production model, durable stainless-steel frets and dual coil-splittable humbuckers designed with both valve amps and digital rigs in mind, everything about the Tekton SVN is engineered to keep you focused on making music — whether you're exploring complex chord voicings or crushing low-register riffs.

Contemporary playability

Built around a 26.5" scale length, the Tekton SVN moves away from PRS's traditional 25" formula in favour of enhanced string tension. The result is a tight, articulate response that's perfectly suited to deep chugs and drop tunings, while still feeling comfortable under the fingers. A slim-yet-substantial Modern "D" Maple neck with a satin finish, 24 jumbo frets and a flat 16"-radius Ebony fingerboard combine to deliver a silky-smooth playing experience with all the precision and control that technical guitarists demand.

Comfortable offset design

The PRS Tekton SVN's Mahogany body sports a sleek, subtly offset shape inspired by both the Vela and flagship Custom models. PRS has slimmed things down to reduce weight and cut a lower horn scoop that makes reaching the highest frets an absolute doddle. Topped with beautifully figured Mango and finished with PRS's signature shallow violin carve, it looks every bit as refined as it feels in your hands.

PRS Stylus pickups: clarity without compromise

Powering the Tekton SVN is a set of PRS Stylus humbuckers, developed specifically for this family of guitars. Loaded with Alnico V magnets, they're voiced to sound aggressive but with exceptional note separation, serving up crystal-clear tones whether you're running pristine cleans or saturated high-gain distortion through a valve amp or modern modeller.

They're by no means flat-response pickups, but they do have a slightly flatter EQ curve and lower output than other PRS humbuckers. That's so they retain plenty of character while catering more to digital amp setups. Better still, every pickup position (including the split-coil sounds) has been carefully tuned, giving you a flexible palette of genuinely useful tones.

Built for boundary-pushing players

The Tekton SVN’s fixed bridge and lightweight locking machine heads keep your tuning rock solid and maximise resonance for a direct, responsive feel. Named after the ancient Greek word for artisan or builder, the Tekton reflects PRS's killer blend of premium craftsmanship and modern innovation. It's the perfect electric guitar for players constantly refining their technique, chasing new sounds and looking ahead to what's next.

• Contemporary offset body design: A hybrid of PRS's Vela and Custom shapes, but on a diet! The Tekton's thin, lightweight body features comfortable sculpted contours and an exaggerated scoop for effortless access to the highest frets.
• Modern “D” neck profile: A slim, supportive carve that’ll have you gliding up and down the Ebony fingerboard like it’s second nature, especially with its smooth satin finish. Reinforced with Hormigo rods, the Tekton’s neck is built for stability and consistent performance.
• 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets: Perfect for huge bends and expressive vibrato, these big frets will stay smooth, durable and corrosion-resistant for years of reliable playability.
• Luminlay side dots: The blue glow-in-the-dark side markers make navigating the fingerboard easy, helping you stay locked in even on the darkest stages.
• PRS Stylus pickups: Deliver exceptional clarity and character in every position, clean or overdriven, through traditional valve amps and modern digital rigs alike. Need even more variety? Pull up the tone control to access sparkling split-coil sounds.
• Hardtail bridge: Designed with individual saddles for precise intonation and a string-through-body construction that boosts sustain.
• Phase III locking tuners: These machine heads allow for quick, hassle-free string changes. They’re light too, eliminating neck dive and promoting tone transfer for a louder, more resonant instrument.
• Included gig bag: Travel in style and keep your Tekton protected on the go with the included PRS premium gig bag.
