Product Description
The PRS S2 Custom 24-08 takes everything players already love about the S2 Custom 24 and expands its versatility with a seriously clever switching system that opens the door to a whole new world of tonal options. You still get all the iconic PRS ingredients like a brilliant poplar burl top, mahogany body and neck, plus that instantly recognisable rosewood fingerboard with the legendary bird inlays.
TCI pickups with vintage vibes & modern control
The Maryland-made PRS TCI pickups are the stars of the show on a 24-08. They’re full, clear and, when you want them to be, beautifully reminiscent of vintage soapbar single-coils.
They’re wired up to a 3-way toggle and a pair of mini-toggle EQ switches that act like smartly tuned high-pass filters. Flick them up, and you’ll shave off just enough low-end to make the highs sparkle with extra clarity and musicality. Flick them down, and you're back to big, warm, full-fat humbucker goodness.
Classic PRS feel and rock‑solid hardware
You've got ultra swift and effortless PRS performance: 24 frets, a 25” scale length and a super-slick ‘Pattern Thin’ neck that feels fast without ever being flimsy. Add to that the rock-solid PRS Gen III Tremolo and Phase III Tuners with their brass shafts and wing buttons, and you’ve got a guitar built to stay in tune and perform night after night.
Features
- High‑gloss nitro finish: Not only does it look gorgeous, but this traditional finish lets the wood breathe and resonate for maximum tonal richness — and it’ll age beautifully over time, just like a fine vintage guitar.
- ‘Pattern Thin’ neck profile: Offers a natural, addictive feel that lets you glide up and down the fingerboard with total ease.
- TCI pickups: Musical pickups that offer versatile tones from spanky singlecoils to full soapbars.
- PRS Patented Tremolo: Engineered for precision, giving you smooth action, rock‑solid tuning stability and unwavering tonal integrity.
- PRS Phase III locking tuners: Quick string changes and bulletproof reliability. These lightweight, ergonomic machine heads are a gigging guitarist’s best friend!
- Premium gig bag included: Keep your S2 Custom 24-08 safe in style wherever the music takes you.
