PRS Custom 24 Piezo Electric Guitar in Dark Cherry Sunburst

The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar. Unveiled at the 1985 NAMM Show, this stellar six-string was PRS's very first production model and it remains the brand's most popular instrument more than 40 years later. Instantly recognisable thanks to its bird fingerboard inlays, dual humbuckers, 24 frets and ergonomic body contours, the Custom 24 is a true modern classic.

The PRS Custom 24 Piezo is that same trailblazing guitar, but with even more versatility. Equipped with an onboard piezo system, it delivers authentic acoustic-style tones alongside classic humbucker sounds, all from a single instrument.

Premium tonewoods & hardware

This exquisite electric guitar boasts a stunning figured Maple top paired with a solid Mahogany back. Add a 25" scale Mahogany neck and silky-smooth Rosewood fingerboard, and you've got a recipe for inspiring tone and exceptional playability. PRS's Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners keep everything rock-solid too, letting you dive-bomb, bend and play with confidence without fear of losing tune.

DMO pickups

Standing for 'Dynamic, Musical, Open', the DMO pickups were designed by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS engineering team. They're the result of years of obsessive R&D, combining vintage-inspired character with cutting-edge tech. The payoff? A wide-open, vocal-like voice that's clear, expressive and beautifully balanced across the entire frequency range.

Loads of control

Alongside the traditional volume, tone and 5-way blade switch controls, the Custom 24 Piezo also features a 3-way mini-toggle that lets you select or blend the magnetic pickups and piezo system. Dual output jacks allow you to run the guitar to separate electric and acoustic amps or send a direct signal to a mixing desk for maximum flexibility.

Prefer to keep things simple? The dedicated blend control lets you mix the DMO pickups and piezo sounds through a single output, unlocking an almost limitless range of tones. Whether you're a gigging musician, recording artist or versatile cover-band player, the Custom 24 Piezo is a superb all-rounder that's ready for just about any musical situation.
