Product Description
The ProMark Rebound 5B Hickory drum sticks with acorn wood tips are designed for drummers who want a natural, uncoated feel and a highly responsive stick. Featuring a raw finish, long taper and reinvented acorn tip, they deliver a lively rebound, clear articulation and a comfortable grip that feels broken-in from the first play.
Built from resilient American hickory and matched using ProMark’s ProMatch process, these sticks offer reliable durability and consistency from pair to pair. Whether you are working on dynamic control, fast ride patterns or punchy backbeats, the Rebound 5B gives you the balance and feedback you need to play with confidence.
Natural Raw Finish Feel
This Rebound 5B model features ProMark’s raw finish, giving you a natural, sanded-down wood feel in the hands. Without lacquer between you and the stick, you get a direct connection that many players find more secure and controlled, especially on longer sessions or under hot stage lights.
Responsive Rebound Balance
With its Rebound balance and long taper, this stick is engineered to throw the energy back into the head, helping the stick do more of the work for you. The result is a lively, springy response that makes fast patterns, doubles and intricate ride work feel easier and more fluid, reducing fatigue over time.
Reinvented Acorn Wood Tip
The acorn-shaped wood tip has been redesigned to provide a larger sweet spot on the cymbal and drumhead. This increases responsiveness and articulation, giving you a fuller, more musical sound with better definition on rides and hi-hats, while still delivering a solid, warm tone on toms and snare.
Consistent ProMatch Pairing
Every pair of ProMark sticks goes through the ProMatch process, which matches sticks by weight and pitch. This ensures that each pair feels and sounds incredibly consistent, so you can switch between pairs with confidence, knowing your balance, response and tone will stay familiar.
Features
- Raw, Natural Finish - The uncoated, raw finish offers a natural, sanded feel that enhances grip and control. It feels broken-in straight away, ideal for players who prefer a direct connection to the wood without a glossy surface.
- Rebound-Focused Long Taper - A long taper shifts the balance towards the back of the stick for a faster, more responsive rebound. This helps with speed, finesse and dynamic playing, making intricate patterns feel smoother and less effortful.
- American Hickory Construction - Made from American hickory, these sticks combine resilience, responsiveness and durability. Hickory absorbs shock effectively, helping to protect your hands and wrists while delivering a classic, familiar feel.
- Reinvented Acorn Wood Tip - The redesigned acorn tip provides a larger sweet spot for improved articulation and responsiveness. Expect clear cymbal definition and a musical, rounded tone across your kit, from ghost notes to full-power backbeats.
