Tone Arm Free DVS Control

In Digital Vinyl mode, the PLX-CRSS12 uses a tone arm free system so the record controls your digital files without relying on a stylus tracking a control signal. The MAGVEL CLAMP locks the record firmly to the platter and translates your movements directly to the software, giving you the feel of vinyl with the reliability of a controller. Even the most aggressive scratch routines stay tight and skip free.

Customisable Feel, Torque and Brake

The PLX-CRSS12 lets you dial in the exact response you want. A dedicated dial on top of the MAGVEL CLAMP adjusts the perceived record weight, so you can fine tune how heavy or light the record feels without swapping slipmats or slip sheets. In the utility menu you can select High, Mid or Low torque to match your preferred start up behaviour, and a front panel switch sets the stopping speed from sharp cuts to long, dramatic slow downs.

Performance Pads and OLED Display

Four MIDI mappable Performance Pads sit just below the platter, putting Hot Cues, samples and other pad modes right where your hand naturally falls. A dedicated button toggles between pads 1 to 4 and 5 to 8, giving you full access without reaching for your mixer. The built in OLED display shows key information such as tempo range, BPM, key and deck number, and also provides quick access to utility settings so you can stay focused on the deck instead of your laptop.
