Product Description
The Pignose PGG-200V is a compact electric guitar with a fully built-in amplifier and speaker, finished here in a sleek Stained Black. Designed in collaboration with legendary amp makers Pignose-Gorilla in the USA, it lets you plug in, pull the iconic Pignose knob, and enjoy that classic Pignose tone straight from the guitar itself. Whether you are practising on the sofa, jamming backstage or travelling light, this is one of the simplest and most portable guitar rigs around.
With a mahogany body and neck, a rosewood fingerboard and a punchy mini humbucker, the PGG-200V feels and plays like a real guitar, not a toy. A 10 cm full-range speaker, headphone output and standard jack out give you flexible ways to monitor your sound, while the short 610 mm scale keeps things comfortable and easy to play. Just add a 9V battery and you are ready to go.
Built-In Pignose Amplifier
The heart of the PGG-200V is its integrated Pignose amplifier, developed with Pignose-Gorilla in the USA. The iconic Pignose control knob doubles as a push-pull on/off switch, so you simply pull it out for instant, gritty Pignose tone without any external gear. It is ideal for quick practice sessions, writing riffs on the move or warming up before a gig, with no need to hunt for power sockets or carry extra amps.
Compact, Travel-Friendly Design
Thanks to its scaled-down body and 610 mm scale length, the PGG-200V is easy to transport and comfortable to play in tight spaces. It is a great option for travelling musicians, students with limited room, or anyone who wants a grab-and-go guitar that can live in the lounge or office. Despite its compact footprint, the full 22-fret neck gives you plenty of range for serious playing.
Mahogany Construction and Mini Humbucker
A mahogany body and bolt-on mahogany neck provide a warm, resonant foundation, while the rosewood fingerboard offers a smooth, familiar feel under the fingers. The mini humbucker pickup delivers a focused, punchy sound that works brilliantly with the onboard amp, keeping noise under control and giving you enough output for crunchy riffs, bluesy leads or clean rhythm parts.
Flexible Output Options
As well as the built-in 10 cm full-range speaker, the PGG-200V features a standard output jack and a mini-jack headphone output. You can practise silently with headphones, plug into a bigger amp or audio interface when you need more volume, or just rely on the internal speaker for instant sound. Powered by a single 9V battery, it is a self-contained solution for players who value convenience and flexibility.
Features
- Integrated Pignose Amplifier - The built-in amp, developed with Pignose-Gorilla, delivers the classic Pignose sound straight from the guitar. Simply pull the Pignose knob to power up and you are ready to play without any external amplifier or pedals.
- 10 cm Full-Range Speaker - A 10 cm speaker is neatly housed inside the body, giving you a surprisingly full and usable tone for practice and jamming. It turns the PGG-200V into a completely self-contained rig that you can use almost anywhere.
- Mahogany Body and Neck - Mahogany construction provides a solid, resonant feel and a warm tonal character. Combined with the rosewood fingerboard, it makes the guitar feel reassuringly familiar under the hands, despite its compact size.
- Mini Humbucker with Simple Controls - A single mini humbucker and volume control keep things streamlined and intuitive. The pickup offers a clear, punchy voice that pairs perfectly with the onboard amp, while the push-pull volume knob doubles as the power switch for quick, fuss-free operation.
