Product Description
The Pearl H-800X Hi-Hat Stand is built for drummers who demand fast, precise response and rock-solid stability in a compact, gig-ready package. A smooth direct pull drive, insulated tier clamp and wide Trident tripod base combine to deliver effortless feel, quiet operation and confident support, whether you are playing subtle jazz patterns or driving rock grooves.
With its swivelling footboard, double braced legs and lightweight, two-tier design, the H-800X is equally at home on cramped stages and in rehearsal rooms. It is easy to position around double pedals and additional hardware, while the HCL-79 clutch keeps your hats locked in exactly where you want them, night after night.
Smooth, Responsive Action
The H-800X uses a direct pull drive system to translate every nuance of your footwork straight to the cymbals. This gives you a fast, predictable response that makes tight barks, splashes and intricate openings feel natural and controlled, helping you play more musically with less effort.
Stable, Stage-Ready Base
A double braced tripod with Pearl’s Trident design base provides a wide, stable footprint that resists wobble and tipping. Strong dual lateral bracing on each leg reinforces the stand under heavy playing, so your hi-hats stay exactly where you set them, even during powerful accents and fast patterns.
Flexible Swivelling Footboard
The fully stabilised, brushed chrome footboard can swivel independently of the tripod legs, making it easy to accommodate double bass drum pedals or extra hardware. This lets you fine-tune your pedal layout for comfort and ergonomics without sacrificing stability or feel.
Quiet, Secure Height Adjustment
The insulated two-tier main section is locked in place by die-cast clamps with nylon insulation. This design keeps your height settings secure while helping to reduce mechanical noise, so the stand feels solid underfoot and stays quiet under microphones in both live and studio environments.
Features
- Direct Pull Drive System - The direct pull mechanism delivers a fast, linear response from footboard to cymbals, giving you precise control over openings, splashes and chicks for more expressive hi-hat work.
- Double Braced Trident Tripod - A wide Trident-design base with double braced legs offers excellent balance and durability, keeping the stand stable under hard playing and on uneven stages.
- Swivelling Brushed Chrome Footboard - The swivelling, fully stabilised footboard allows flexible positioning around double pedals and other stands, while the brushed chrome finish provides a smooth, comfortable playing surface.
- HCL-79 Hi-Hat Clutch - The included HCL-79 clutch features a direct wing-bolt for non-slip settings, traditional felts for open cymbal sustain, a locking bottom nut and a two-piece adjustable top nut for precise cymbal grip and slosh control.
