Product Description
The Pearl P-1000CX Elimin8R bass drum pedal distils eight core performance elements from Pearl’s legendary Eliminator range into a streamlined, great-value package. Built for speed, power and precision, it gives you a rock-solid feel underfoot with customisable response so you can dial in the perfect balance of control and impact for any style.
Rather than locking you into a single playing feel, the Elimin8R’s removable cam system, adjustable footboard position and infinitely variable beater angle let you fine-tune the pedal to your technique. Combined with a rugged base plate, sprocket-less double chain drive and Pearl’s Control Core DuoBeater, it delivers fast, consistent performance that stands up to serious gigging and rehearsal schedules.
Custom Feel with Removable Cam System
At the heart of the P-1000CX is Pearl’s unique Removable Cam System, giving you two distinct response options in one pedal. Choose the Progressive cam for an accelerated, punchy feel that ramps up speed and power as you press down, ideal for fast doubles and aggressive playing. Swap to the round Linear Action cam for a smooth, even stroke that feels familiar and controlled underfoot. Both cams are easy to change, so you can quickly adapt the pedal to different genres or playing situations.
Solid Foundation for High-Impact Playing
The Elimin8R is built on a no-nonsense solid frame with a full support plate, giving you a stable platform that stays put under heavy use. This rigid construction helps transfer every bit of your foot’s energy directly into the bass drum head, improving consistency and reducing wasted motion. Whether you are laying down steady grooves or pushing extreme tempos, the pedal’s chassis is designed to feel secure and confidence-inspiring.
Fast, Direct Response
A sprocket-less double chain drive and resistance-free footboard combine to give the P-1000CX a fast, direct feel. The smooth linkage minimises friction, so the pedal responds instantly to subtle movements as well as full-power strokes. Pearl’s three-position Powershifter function lets you move the footboard to fine-tune leverage and throw, tailoring the pedal’s response from tight and controlled to longer and more powerful, all without changing your basic setup.
Dialled-In Control and Easy Setup
The Elimin8R is designed to be easy to set up and keep in the sweet spot. The infinitely adjustable beater angle lets you position the beater exactly where you want it for optimal power and rebound. Pearl’s Click-Lock tension adjustment helps your spring setting stay put once you have found your preferred feel. A side-access hoop clamp makes attaching the pedal to your bass drum quick and straightforward, even in tight stage spaces. Finished with the versatile Control Core DuoBeater, you have multiple striking surfaces on tap to match your sound and playing style.
Features
- Removable Cam System - Switch between the Progressive cam for an accelerated, powerful stroke and the round Linear Action cam for a smooth, even feel. This gives you two distinct pedal responses in one unit, so you can match the action to your technique or musical style.
- Sprocket-less Double Chain Drive - The sprocket-less design and double chain drive provide a strong, stable connection between your foot and the beater, with minimal friction. This results in a fast, responsive pedal that tracks your movements accurately at any tempo.
- Three-Position Powershifter Footboard - Adjust the footboard position to change leverage and throw, allowing you to fine-tune the balance between speed and power. This simple adjustment helps you personalise the pedal feel without needing extra parts or tools.
- Control Core DuoBeater and Advanced Adjustability - The Control Core DuoBeater offers multiple striking surfaces, giving you tonal options straight out of the box. Combined with infinitely adjustable beater angle, Click-Lock spring tension and a side-access hoop clamp, it makes it easy to achieve a comfortable, consistent setup.
